Կանադական «դաշնակցություն» Թրյուդոյից

Անցած տարվա նոյեմբերին ՀԱՊԿ խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովում Հայաստանի պատվիրակները հրաժարվեցին աջակցել Ռուսաստանի ներկայացրած բնաձևերից մեկին, որով դատապարտում էին Կանադային՝ մի նացիստի նկատմամբ բարեհաճ վերաբերմունք դրսևորելու համար։

Հայկական կողմը հայտարարեց, թե Կանադան դաշնակից պետություն է և իրենք չեն ցանկանում միանալ հայտարարության այդ կետին։ Մինչդեռ երեկ ՀՅԴ պաշտոնական կայքը հայտնել է, թե Կանադան կարող է չեղարկել Թուրքիայի նկատմամբ սահմանված ռազմական արտադրանքի վաճառքի էմբարգոն։ Այս քայլը կարող է ձեռնարկվել Շվեդիայի՝ ՆԱՏՕ-ին անդամակցելու գործարքի շրջանակներում։ Հայ դատի հանձնախումբը Կանադայի կառավարությանը կոչ է արել ցուցաբերել առավելագույն զգուշություն և առաջնահերթություն տալ տարածաշրջանային կայունությանը, խաղաղությանը և մարդու իրավունքներին։

Դեռևս պատերազմի ժամանակ թուրքական անօդաչուների մեջ օգտագործվող մի շարք մասեր Թուրքիան գնել էր Կանադայից և այդ տեղեկությունները հայտնի դառնալուց հետո, կանադական իշխանությունները հայտարարել էին Թուրքիայի նկատմամբ ռազմական արտադրանքի վաճառքի էնդարգո սահմանելու մասին։ Այս տեղեկությունը Հայաստանի գործող վարչախումբը չափազանց սրտամոտ է ընդունել, ընդհուպ Կանադային նոր դաշնակից էին հայտարարում, մինչդեռ հենց այս մեկ դրվագն ապացուցում է, որ արևմտյան առաջատար պետություններից մեկն ընդամենը սեփական շահերն է հետապնդում թե՛ Թուրքիայի հետ առևտրային հարաբերություններում և թե՛ Հայաստանի հետ շփումներում և բարեկամության անկեղծ դրսևորումների մասին խոսք լինել չի կարող։
