ԱՄՆ-ն հավաքորդի ժառանգներին է վերադարձրել Էգոն Շիլեի՝ հոլոքոստի ժամանակ նացիստների գողացած երկու ստեղծագործություն

ԱՄՆ դատախազությունը ավստրիացի նկարիչ Էգոն Շիլեի երկու ստեղծագործությունները, որոնք հոլոքոստի ժամանակ սպանված հավաքորդից գողացել էին նացիստները, տեղեկացրել է PA Media-ն։

Ստեղծագործությունները հանձնվել են Փիտսբուրգի եւ Օհայոյի թանգարանների կողմից, բայց դատախազությունը դեռ պայքարում է Նյու Յորքի դատարանում, որպեզի վերադարձվի նկարչի երրորդ աշխատանքը, որը գտնվում է Չիկագոյի թանգարանում։

Ուրբաթ Մանհեթենում հոլոքոստի զոհ Ֆրից Գրյունբաումի կալվածքը ընդունել է «Տղամարդու դիմանկարը», որը հանձնվել է Քարնեգիի Գեղարվեստական թանգարանից, եւ «Սեւամազ աղջիկը»՝ Օբերլինի քոլեջին կից Ալենի թանգարանից։

Դատախազությունը այս երկու գործերը միասին գնահատել է մոտ 2,5 մլն դոլար։

Շիլեի տասը աշխատանքներ ներկայում վերադարձվել են ընտանիքին, բայց «Ռուս ռազմագերին» մնում է Չիկագոյի գեղարվեստաական ինստիտուտում, որը պնդում է, որ այն ձեռք է բերել օրինական ճանապարհով։

Գրյունբաումը հրեա արտ-դիլերի եւ իրավաբանական ֆակուլտետի ուսանողի որդին էր, որը սկսել է ելույթ ունենալ Վիեննայի կաբարեում 1906թ.։ Երբ նացիստներն իշխանության եկան, նա ծաղրում էր նրանց։

1938թ. նրան բռնում են նացիստ պաշտոնյաները։ Մանհեթենի դատախազությունը հավաստիացնում է, որ նրանք ստիպել են Գրյունբաումին լիազորագիր տալ իր կնոջը, իսկ հետո ստիպել են նրան ստորագրել արվեստի գործերի, այդ թվում Շիլեի մոտ 80 գործերի հանձնումը նացիստ պաշտոնյաներին։

Դատախազները հավաստիացնում են, որ Շիլեի աշխատանքները նորից հայտնվել են 1956թ. Շվեյցարիայում, ստվերային արտ-դիլերի մոտ, որը կապված էր նացիստական ռեժիմի անդամների հետ, ինչն էլ հանգեցրել է դրանց վաճառքին Նյու Յորքի պատկերասրահներին։
