Ադրբեջանը հայկական կողմից պատասխան է սպասում խաղաղության պայմանագրի առաջարկներին, որոնք Բաքուն ներկայացրել է Երևանին ավելի քան երկու ամիս առաջ։ Այդ մասին հայտարարել է երկրի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևն՝ իր իրաքցի գործընկեր Աբդել Լատիֆ Ռաշիդի հետ բանակցություններից հետո կայացած մամուլի ասուլիսում։

«Մենք Հայաստանից մեր առաջարկներին պատասխան ենք սպասում։ Մենք մի քանի անգամ առաջարկություններ ենք փոխանակել խաղաղության պայմանագրի նախագծի վերաբերյալ, բայց հիմա՝ ավելի քան երկու ամիս՝ սեպտեմբերի 11-ից, սպասում ենք, որ Հայաստանի կառավարությունը մեզ պատասխանի։ Ուզում ենք իմանալ նրանց կարծիքն այս մեկնաբանությունների վերաբերյալ։ Բայց մենք այդպես էլ պատասխան չստացանք»,- Azertag լրատվական գործակալության փոխանցմամբ՝ ասել է Ալիևը։

Նրա խոսքով, Երևանի պատասխանը ուշացնելու պատճառն այն է, որ «վատ խորհուրդներ են ստանում, մասնավորապես Ֆրանսիայից»։ Երկրի ղեկավարը նաև կարծում է, որ Հայաստանի հավատարմությունը ֆրանսիական խորհրդին կարող է սպառնալիք դառնալ տարածաշրջանային անվտանգության համար։ «Ֆրանսիան շատ կործանարար դեր է խաղում Հարավային Կովկասում։ Փաստորեն, Հայաստանը դարձել է ֆրանսիական կառավարության խամաճիկը, և դա կարող է լուրջ սպառնալիք դառնալ տարածաշրջանային կայունության համար»,- հավելել է նա։

Ալիեւը նշել է, որ Ադրբեջանին պատերազմ պետք չէ: Ըստ Ադրբեջանի նախագահի՝ «Ֆրանսիայի կառավարության ոչ կոռեկտ հաղորդագրություններն իրականում պատրանք են ստեղծում Հայաստանի իշխանության, և, հնարավոր է, նաև հայ հասարակության շրջանում, որ նրանք կարող են կրկին ռազմական ագրեսիա սկսել Ադրբեջանի դեմ»։ «Հայաստանի սպառազինությունը, որով Ֆրանսիան այդքան հպարտանում է և հրապարակավ հայտարարում, չի օգնի Հայաստանին, եթե նա որոշի նոր պատերազմ սկսել։ Արդյունքը նույնն է լինելու, և ոչ ոք նրանց չի օգնի։ Ուստի, Հայաստանը պետք է ծրագրի իր ապագան՝ ելնելով սեփական ազգային շահերից, այլ ոչ թե մեր տարածաշրջանից հեռու գտնվող երկրների, հատկապես արյունալի գաղութային անցյալ ունեցող երկրների հավակնություններից»,- ընդգծել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահը։

Նա նշեց, որ որքան շուտ Հայաստանից պատասխան ստացվի խաղաղության պայմանագրի առաջարկի վերաբերյալ, այնքան լավ։
