Ես չեմ զարմանում, որ Թուրքիան, Ադրբեջանը և Ռուսաստանը հաճախ օգտագործում են նույն հռետորաբանությունը. Սիմոնյան

Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի պատերազմը ցույց տվեց, որ ավտոկրատական ռեժիմները, որոնք հիմնված են այն գաղափարի վրա, որ «ուժեղն իրավացի է», հաճախ հակամարտությունները լուծում են ռազմական ուժի միջոցով` շրջանցելով միջազգային միջնորդությունը: Այս մասին Դուբլինում ԵԽ խորհրդարանների նախագահների եվրոպական համաժողովին «Ներկայացուցչական ժողովրդավարության մարտահրավերներն անկայուն ժամանակներում» խորագրի շրջանակում իր ելույթի ժամանակ նշել է ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանը:

Նա նաեւ ասել է. «Այսօր մեր ժողովրդավարությունը շարունակում է բախվել բազմաթիվ փորձությունների: Նրան սպառնում են արտաքին գործոններ, նաեւ` մեր անվտանգության եւ տարածքային ամբողջականության ռազմական սպառնալիքները: Հասկանալի է, որ բռնության մշտական սպառնալիքը վնասակար ազդեցություն է ունենում մեր հասարակության բարեկեցության վրա:

Ադրբեջանն ատելության եւ այլատյացության իր ամպագոռգոռ հռետորաբանությամբ, որն ուղեկցվում է վերջնագրերով եւ ռազմական ագրեսիայով, ստեղծել է թունավոր մթնոլորտ եւ թունավորել խաղաղ գործընթացը: Միջազգային հանրության գործողություններն Ադրբեջանում անպատժելիության զգացում են առաջացրել` սրելով իրավիճակը տարածաշրջանում:

Ադրբեջանի գործողությունները չեն սահմանափակվում Լեռնային Ղարաբաղով, այլ տարածվում են Հայաստանի ինքնիշխան տարածքների վրա, որոնց մի մասը մնում է Ադրբեջանի վերահսկողության տակ: Ադրբեջանի մոտեցումն այն է, որ ուժի միջոցով պարտադրի Հայաստանին իր նախընտրած որոշումները: Արդեն ավելի քան երեք տարի է, ինչ Ադրբեջանը հրաժարվում է վերադարձնել հայ ռազմագերիներին եւ այլ քաղաքացիական անձանց` ի հեճուկս Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարանի որոշման: Ավելին, դատարանի որոշումից հետո Ադրբեջանը Հայաստանի տարածքից առեւանգել է 2 հայ զինծառայողի, ինչի հետեւանքով հաստատված ռազմագերիների ընդհանուր թիվը հասել է 35-ի:

Հարգելի' գործընկերներ, ես չզարմացա, որ մեր թուրք գործընկերը հավանություն տվեց Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հայերի դեմ ռազմական ուժի կիրառմանը: Ես չեմ զարմանում, որ Թուրքիան, Ադրբեջանը եւ Ռուսաստանը հաճախ օգտագործում են նույն հռետորաբանությունը: Ինձ զարմացնում է այն, որ նրանք դա անում են այստեղ` Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության համար հիմնադրված կազմակերպությունում»:
