Ավելի քան 800 զոհ. Մարոկկոյի երկրաշարժն ամենաավերիչն է վերջին 100 տարվա ընթացքում

Մարոկկոյում տեղի ունեցած երկրաշարժը վերջին 100 տարվա ընթացքում ամենաավերիչն է: al Arabiya հեռուստաալիքի հետ զրույցում այս մասին ասել է թագավորության Ազգային երկրաֆիզիկական ինստիտուտի բաժնի ղեկավար Նասեր Ջաբուրը:
Զոհերի թիվն արդեն հասել է 820-ի, ևս 672 մարդ վնասվածք է ստացել, և սրանք վերջնական թվեր չեն:
 
Ջաբուրի խոսքով՝ ստորգետնյա ցնցումը, որի էպիկենտրոնը դարձել է Իգիլ շրջանը (գտնվում է Մարաքեշ քաղաքից 80 կմ հարավ-արևմուտք), 400 կմ շառավղով զգացվել է Մարոկկոյի մի շարք քաղաքներում։
 
Ֆրանսիան և Իսրայելը հայտարարել են, որ պատրաստ են առաջին օգնություն ցուցաբերել Մարոկկոյին։ Եվրամիությունը հայտնել է, որ ուշադիր հետևում է իրավիճակին և պատրաստ է անհրաժեշտ օգնություն տրամադրել տարերքի հետևանքների վերացման համար: Մուհամմեդ 6-րդ թագավորին և Մարոկկոյի ժողովրդին ցավակցություն է հայտնել Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը:
 
Ավելի վաղ Եվրոպական-միջերկրածովյան սեյսմոլոգիական կենտրոնը (EMSC) հայտնել էր, որ սեպտեմբերի 9-ին` Երևանի ժամանակով 02։11–ին, 6,9 մագնիտուդով երկրաշարժ է տեղի ունեցել Մարոկկոյում՝ Մարաքեշից 80 կմ հեռավորության վրա: Մարոկկոյի ազգային երկրաֆիզիկական ինստիտուտի տվյալներով՝ երկրաշարժի ուժգնությունը կազմել է 7 բալ:
