Կալիֆորնիան արևի էներգիայով է պայքարում երաշտի դեմ

Փորձագետների գնահատականով, եթե Կալիֆորնիայի ջրամբարները փակեն արևային վահանակներով, ապա գեներացված էներգիան կբավարարի, որպեսզի ողջ Լոս Անջելեսը մեկ տարի ապահովեն էլեկտրաէներգիայով, ընդ որում, հիշեցնենք, որ Լոս Անջելեսն՝ իր հարակից քաղաքներով, ունի 18 միլիոն բնակչություն։

2015 թվականին այս առաջարկը չընդունվեց, երբ Կալիֆորնիան արդեն 4 տարի շարունակ երաշտի ճիարաններում էր։ 2015–ին Ջերի Բրաունը որոշում է աննախադեպ միջոցներ ձեռնարկել, կրճատել ջրի սպառումը տներում 25 %-ով և արագացնել էներգոհամակարգերը վերականգնվող աղբյուրների փոխանցելու գործընթացը, որպեսզի դրանցից ստացվի նահանգին անհրաժեշտ էներգառեսուրսների առնվազն կեսը։

Գործարարներ Ջորդան Հարիսն ու Ռոբի Ռաջը դեռևս այն ժամանակ առաջարկում էին խնդիրը լուծել՝ ջրամբարների վրա արևային վահանակներ դնելով, ընդ որում հիմանական էներգետիկ հզորությունները դրվելու էին ոռոգման ջրանցքների վրա։ Նրանց գաղափարը որևէ ուշադրության չէր արժանացել իշխանությունների կողմից։ Անցել է 8 տարի, անոմալ տապի, լայնածավալ անտառային հրդեհների և Կոլորադո գետի ճգնաժամի պայմաններում «Solar Aquagrid» ընկերությունը սկսել է իր նախագիծն՝ Ամերիկայում առաջին ոռոգման ջրանցքի վրա արևային վահանկների տեղադրումը։

Մասնագետները պնդում են, որ սա չափազանց կարևոր և լուրջ նշանակություն կարող է ունենալ։ Արևային վահանակները թույլ կտան ոչ միայն կրճատել արտանետումները, այլ նաև ջրի գոլորշացումը, այս կերպ հսկայական տարածքներ ոչ միայն կորուստներ չեն ունենա, այլև կկարողանան մեծ քանակի էներգիա գեներացնել և փոխանցել նահանգի էներգոհամակարգին։

Կալիֆորնիայի ներկայիս իշխանությունները չափազանց հետաքրքրված են այս նախագիծը զարգացնելու և նրա հետագա տարածումն իրականացնելու համար։
