Տարիներ առաջ մեր ժողովուրդն ի թիվս այլ հիմնարար սկզբունքների Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Սահմանադրության ընդունման հիմքում է դրել քաղաքացիական համերաշխությունը եւ համամարդկային արժեքներին հավատարմությունը: Այս մասին ասվում է ԱԺ նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանի շնորհավորական ուղերձում՝ Սահմանադրության օրվա առթիվ։

«Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,

Շնորհավորում եմ բոլորիս Սահմանադրության օրվա առթիվ: Մեր Հանրապետությունն առաջ է ընթանում ժողովրդավարական ուղով՝  հաղթահարելով բազում խոչընդոտներ եւ դիմակայելով անսպասելի արգելքների: Մենք հաստատակամ ենք ժողովրդավար երկիր կառուցելու հարցում եւ գիտակցում ենք դրան հասնելու բարդությունները: Տարիներ առաջ մեր ժողովուրդն ի թիվս այլ հիմնարար սկզբունքների Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Սահմանադրության ընդունման հիմքում է դրել քաղաքացիական համերաշխությունը եւ համամարդկային արժեքներին հավատարմությունը:

Իհարկե, սահմանադրորեն արձանագրված մի շարք հոդվածների իրականացման հարցում անելիքները շատ են, եւ իշխանության բոլոր ճյուղերի աշխատանքն ուղղված է բարեփոխումների իրականացմանը:

Եվս մեկ անգամ շնորհավորում եմ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Սահմանադրության օրվա կապակցությամբ: Մաղթում եմ, որ Սահմանադրությունն իրապես կարեւորվի մեր քաղաքացիների կողմից, դառնա սեղանի գիրք՝ կոտրելով մտայնությունը, որ այն հասանելի է միայն հատուկ մասնագետներին: Այս դեպքում, թերեւս, ժողովրդավարությունն ավելի կմոտեցնենք մեզ՝ ստեղծելով քաղաքացիական բարձր պատասխանատվությամբ հասարակություն»,- ասվում է ուղերձում:
