«Ապրելու երկիր» կուսակցության համահիմնադիր Մեսրոպ Առաքելյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է.

Երևանի քաղաքաշինական տեսքի այլանդակման մեջ մեծ դեր ունեն տարբեր տիպի ընտրությունները։ Յուրաքանչյուր բակում կգտնվի մի շինություն, շենքի վրայի մի հարկ, որը ընտրական ձեռներեցության արդյունք է։
Ընտրություններին իշխանությունների համար աշխատանքը հիմնականում վարձահատույց է եղել ավտոտնակով, կրպակով, շենքի վրա հարկ կառուցելով, այգիներով, հանրային այլ տարածքով։
Թվում էր, թե ընտրական ձեռներեցների (տասովշիկների) համակարգը վաղուց պետք է անցյալում լիներ, բայց օրնօրի ակտիվանում են բոլոր ժամանակների իշխանությունների համար աշխատած դեմքերը, ովքեր հիմա էլ քարոզում են գործող իշխանություններին՝ «մեր ախպորը տված շինթույլտվության համար»։
Իհարկե, իրենք էլ լավ գիտեն, որ իրենց ակտիվությունը միայն վնասում է իշխանությանը, և հասարակությունը հենց իրենց է մերժելու այս անգամ էլ ա՛յս իշխանությունների հետ միասին։
Սակայն, այս ամենի կողքին շարունակվում է մաս-մաս քայքայվել Երևանը՝ անհասկանալի շինթույլտվություններով ու դրանց հետևող շինարարություններով։
