Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ԱԺ նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը եռօրյա աշխատանքային այցով Միացյալ Թագավորությունում է: Այցի շրջանակում հունիսի 7-ին պատվիրակությանն ընդունել է Մեծ Բրիտանիայի եւ Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիայի Միացյալ Թագավորության խորհրդարանի Համայնքների պալատի նախագահ Սըր Լինդսի Հոյլը:

ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել հրավերի եւ ջերմ հյուրընկալություն համար՝ նշելով, որ Հայաստանը շահագրգռված է կայուն հիմքերի վրա դնել ու զարգացնել Միացյալ Թագավորության հետ բազմակողմ հարաբերություններն ու նույնն ակնկալում է Միացյալ Թագավորությունից:

Հանդիպմանը նշվել է, որ երեք տասնամյակների ընթացքում Հայաստանը եւ Միացյալ Թագավորությունը ձեւավորել են երկկողմ հարաբերությունների հավակնոտ օրակարգ՝ հիմնված ընդհանուր արժեքների եւ սկզբունքների վրա: Կողմերը քննարկել են մարդու ժողովրդավարական ինստիտուտների ամրապնդմանն առնչվող հարցեր:

ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահը համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ շուտով կավարտվի Հայաստան-ՄԹ Համապարփակ ընդլայնված համաձայնագրի համաձայնեցումը, եւ այն կստորագրվի հնարավորինս սեղմ ժամկետներում:

«Հայաստանը՝ որպես երիտասարդ խորհրդարանական հանրապետություն, առավել կարեւորում է արդյունավետ միջխորհրդարանական համագործակցությունը եւ խորհրդարանականների միջեւ փոխգործակցությունը: Գոհունակությամբ եմ արձանագրում մեր խորհրդարաններում գործող բարեկամական խմբերի վերջին երկու տարվա ընթացքում փոխայցերն ու առկա ակտիվ գործակցությունը»,- նշել է Ալեն Սիմոնյանը:

Հանդիպման ավարտին ՀՀ ԱԺ խոսնակը Հայաստան է հրավիրել իր բրիտանացի գործընկերոջը:

ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանի գլխավորած պատվիրակության կազմում են ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահի տեղակալ Ռուբեն Ռուբինյանը, ԱԺ «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» խմբակցության ղեկավար, ԱԺ Հայաստան-Մեծ Բրիտանիա բարեկամական խմբի անդամ Հայկ Կոնջորյանը, բարեկամական խմբի անդամ Արթուր Խաչատրյանն ու պատգամավոր Սոնա Ղազարյանը:
