Արցախի Հանրապետության նախագահ Արայիկ Հարությունյանը մայիսի 28-ին ուղերձ է հղել Հայաստանի Առաջին Հանրապետության օրվա առթիվ:

Ուղերձում ասված է.

«Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,

105 տարի է անցել այն օրից, երբ, շուրջ վեց դար մնալով առանց պետականության, հայ ժողովուրդը հռչակեց իր անկախ պետությունը, վերականգնեց սեփական հողում ազատ ու անկախ ապրելու իր իրավունքը:

Հայաստանի Առաջին Հանրապետությունը դարձավ Մայիսյան փառավոր հաղթանակների արգասիքը: Սարդարապատի, Բաշ Ապարանի և Ղարաքիլիսայի հերոսամարտերը մինչև այսօր էլ առեղծված են մնում շատերի համար: Շատ-շատերի, բայց ոչ մեզ համար:

Իր բազմադարյա պատմության ողջ ընթացքում հայ ժողովուրդը բազում անգամներ է հայտնվել անդունդի եզրին, կանգնել անելանելի թվացող փակուղու առջև, երբ փրկության նշույլ անգամ չէր ուրվագծվում: Սակայն, իր քաջազուն զավակների խիզախության ու սխրանքի, անձնուրացության ու իմաստնության շնորհիվ կարողացել է դիմակայել ճակատագրի հարվածներին, հաղթահարել բոլոր փորձություններն ու շարունակել կառուցել իր ապագան:

Այսօր մենք կրկին ապրում ենք վճռորոշ ժամանակաշրջանում և կրկին ստիպված ենք պայքարել մեր լինելության, ազգային ինքնության պահպանման, հայոց ամուր պետականության ապագայի համար: Մենք չափազանց թանկ գին ենք վճարել մեր անկախ պետականության համար և պետք է աչքի լույսի պես պահենք ու փայփայենք այն և փոխանցենք հետագա սերունդներին։

Ուրեմն, եկեք անհրաժեշտ դասեր քաղենք անցյալից, բոլորս միասին տեր կանգնենք մեր Հայրենիքին, զարգացնենք ու զորացնենք այն, քանի դեռ կարող ենք, քանի դեռ չենք կորցրել մեր սուրբ նահատակներին արժանի լինելու, աշխարհի հնագույն քաղաքակրթությունը կերտողների ժառանգորդը լինելու հնարավորությունը։
