Պաշտոնական Բաքուն «օգտակար» և «արդյունքներին ուղղված» է գնահատել ԵՄ խորհրդի նախագահի միջնորդությամբ մայիսի 14-ին Բրյուսելում Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի առաջնորդների միջև կայացած հանդիպումը։

Ադրբեջանի արտգործնախարարությունը շեշտում է՝ «հանդիպումը կարևոր է նախևառաջ «Բրյուսելյան ձևաչափի» վերականգնման և ամենաբարձր մակարդակով երկխոսության խթանման առումով, որն ընդհատվել է շուրջ 9 ամիս առաջ նախապայմանների առաջ քաշման տարատեսակ փորձերի և տարբեր միջամտությունների արդյունքում»։

Թե ինչ նախապայմանների և միջամտությունների մասին է, հաղորդագրությունում չի նշվում։

Անդրադառնալով քննարկված հարցերին՝ ադրբեջանական կողմը տեղեկացնում է, որ «կոնկրետ արդյունքների հասնելու համար տեղի է ունեցել մտքերի հանգամանալից փոխանակում Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի միջև երկկողմ խաղաղ համաձայնագրի մշակման, սահմանների սահմանազատման և հաղորդակցությունների վերականգնման վերաբերյալ»։

«Մասնավորապես, չափազանց կարևոր է ևս մեկ անգամ պետությունների տարածքային ամբողջականության նկատմամբ հարգանքի հաստատումը և այս համատեքստում Հայաստանի կողմից Ադրբեջանի միջազգայնորեն ճանաչված տարածքային ամբողջականության ընդունումը», — հայտարարում է ադրբեջանական կողմը, շեշտելով, որ դա է միակ միջոցը տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության և կայունության հասնելու համար։

Հաղորդագրությունում Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի, գերիների ազատ արձակման մասին որևէ հիշատակում չկա, միայն նշվում է, որ քննարկվել են «հումանիտար հարցերը, որոնք կարևոր են հետպատերազմական կարգավորման համար»։

Ըստ ադրբեջանական կողմի դրանք են՝ «անհայտ կորածների ճակատագրի պարզաբանումը և ականազերծման քայլերը»։

«Մենք ողջունում ենք հարաբերությունների կարգավորման ուղղությամբ առաջընթացի հասնելու ջանքերը և վերահաստատում ենք մեր պատրաստակամությունը՝ շարունակելու երկխոսությունն ու փոխգործակցությունը այդ նպատակը հետապնդող միջազգային գործընկերների հետ», — հայտարարել է Ադրբեջանի դիվանագիտական գերատեսչությունը։
