Այսօր մենք նշում ենք փառապանծ եռատոնը՝ Հայրենական Մեծ պատերազմում տարած հաղթանակը, 1992 թվականին Շուշիի ազատագրումը և Արցախի Հանրապետության Պաշտպանության բանակի կազմավորումը։

Մայիսի 9-ը մեզ համար այն տոներից է, որն իր մեջ ներառում է հայ ազգի մի քանի սերունդների հայրենասիրությունը, տոկունությունն ու խիզախությունը։ Որպես հաղթանակի և խաղաղության տոն, այն միշտ լինելու է ոգեշնչման աղբյուր և վկայություն, որ հաղթանակները միասնական ուժի շնորհիվ են կերտվում։ Այս պահին խարխլված է եռատոնը, և մենք անպայման պետք է վերականգնենք տոնի խորհուրդն ու իմաստը ետ բերելով այն տոնելու մեր իրավունքը։
