Արցախի նախկին պետնախարար Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է. 

Արցախում Ադրբեջանի դիվերսիոն գործողոթյունների հետևանքով ունենք երեք զոհ ու վիրավոր: Փաստացի, Արցախը բլոկադայի մեջ պահելով, գազի ու էլեկտրաէներգիայի խափանումներով արցախցիներին ճնշելու ձախողված փորձերից հետո Ադրբեջանն անցավ ռազմական ճանապարհով խնդիրների լուծմանը:

Ես բազմիցս եմ նշել, որ իրենց առաջարկած «ինտեգրացիան» մեզ համար չի կարող ընդունելի լինել, քանի որ դա նշանակում է, որ Արցախում հայ չի կարող ապրել: Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարությունն ամենօրյա ռեժիմով ապացուցում է, որ իր նպատակն մեզ այստեղից հեռացնելն է, մեզ մեր հայրենիքից զրկելն է: Նրանք այդ նպատակին հասնելու առաջ ունակ են դիմել ցանկացած քայլի: Այսօրվա դեպքերը դրա վառ ապացույցն են:
Կարևոր է, որ Սպարապետ Վազգեն Սարգսյանի ծննդյան օրը վերհիշենք նրա խոսքերն ուղղված մեզ: Դրանք ավելի արդիական են այսօր, քան երբևէ: Նա ասել է. «Ես ատում եմ մազապուրծ բառը, ես չեմ ուզում մազապուրծ լինել, ես չեմ ուզում ևս մեկ անգամ իմ հայրենակիցներին, հարազատներին սրի տան… Եվ, փառք Աստծո, մեր ժողովուրդն իր մեջ այդ զոհի հոգեբանությունը հաղթահարեց: Այդ իմաստով մենք էս պատերազմը պիտի շատ հարգենք, ընդհանրապես ղարաբաղյան ազատամարտը, Ղարաբաղի ժողովրդին մենք պիտի շատ հարգենք: Այս ազատամարտը մեզ ստիպեց, որ ինքներս մեզ հարգենք: Սա մեր պատերազմն է: Սիրենք թե չսիրենք, պատերազմ ոչ ոք չի սիրում, բայց պարտավոր ենք հարգել, առանց դրա մենք հեռանկար չենք ունենա…»:

Սրանք իսկական առաջնորդի խոսքեր են, ում համար իր ժողովրդի արժանապատիվ կյանքը վեր է ամեն ինչից։

Պատասխանատվություն ստանձնած մեր ղեկավարները պետք է գիտակցեն, որ չի կարելի մեր ազգային արժանապատվության հաշվին հարմարվել։
Պայքարի ու դիմադրության այլընտրանքը մազապուրծ ու հայրենազուրկ դառնալն է, իսկ դա մենք թույլ տալ չենք կարող:

Ընդհակառակը, մեր գործողություններով պիտի կարողանանք ցույց տալ թշնամուն, որ իրենց այդ մտադրությունները շատ ծանր ավարտ են ունենալու հենց իրենց համար։

Իսկ մենք վերջապես պիտի հասկանանք, որ մեր անվտանգությունը հնարավոր է ապահովել հայրենիքը պաշտպանելու մեր վճռականությամբ։ Եւ մենք մեր կամքով շատ բան կարող ենք փոխել։
