Ռուսաստանը բարձր է գնահատում Ուկրաինայի հետ ներկայիս հակամարտությունում խաղաղության հասնելու հարցում Թուրքիայի օգնությունը։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է Անկարայում Ռուսաստանի դեսպան Սերգեյ Երխովը թուրքական «Yeni Şafak» պարբերականին տված հարցազրույցում։

«Խաղաղությունն այն է, ինչին մենք բոլորս ձգտում ենք, և Թուրքիայի ու նրա ղեկավարության ջանքերը՝ բանակցությունների միջոցով լուծում գտնելու համար, օրինակ՝ Ուկրաինայում, արժանի են ամենաբարձր գնահատանքի»,- ասել է Երխովը։

Նրա խոսքով` «Թուրքիան անխոնջ աշխատում է այդ ուղղությամբ եւ ընդհանուր առմամբ առաջընթաց է գրանցում»։

«Դրա համար բավական է հիշել երեք արտգործնախարարների հանդիպումը Անթալիայում կամ բանակցությունները Ստամբուլի Դոլմաբահչե պալատում»,- ասել է ռուս դիվանագետը։

Նա նաև հայտարարել է, որ աշխարհը փոփոխությունների գործընթացի մեջ է և նշել, որ Թուրքիայի ու Ռուսաստանի մերձեցումը որոշակի շրջանակներում դժգոհություն է առաջացրել.

«Ռուսաստանը, ում դարերով Թուրքիայի դեմ են տրամադրել, հանկարծ դառնում է անհրաժեշտ ու օգտակար Թուրքիայի համար,  իսկ Թուրքիան գնալով էլ ավելի է անհրաժեշտ ու օգտակար Ռուսաստանի համար», -ասել է նա։
