Շիրակը կրկին աղքատությամբ առաջատարն է՝ 60 տոկոս աղքատություն: Այս մասին ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրել է «Շիրակ» Կենտրոն» ՀԿ-ի նախագահ Վահան Թումասյանը:

« Շիրակը կրկին աղքատությամբ առաջատարն է՝ 60 տոկոս աղքատություն...

Այսօր հայաստանյան լրատվամիջոցներով տարածված մի տեղեկության համաձայն՝ Հայաստանում աղքատության մակարդակը, ըստ Համաշխարհային բանկի կանխատեսումների, մինչեւ տարեվերջ ավելի քան 47 տոկոս կկազմի։ Շիրակի մարզում, օրինակ, աղքատության մակարդակն արդեն 60 տոկոսի է հասել:
Առհասարակ վերջին երկու տարիներին սոսկալի վիճակ է ստեղծվել որևէ բարեգործական ձեռնարկ իրականացնելիս: 

Պարզապես «Շիրակ կենտրոնը» նմանվել է «գաղտնի գործող» կազմակերպության: Որևէ օգնության տրամադրման բաց հրապարակում հնարավոր չէ անել, հովանավորներից շատերն էլ իրենց հերթին խնդրում են իրենց չնշել, հարյուրավոր նամակներ են ստանում օգնության խնդրանքով, որևէ ընտանիքի աջակցելիս հազար անգամ խնդրում եմ, որ լուռ մնան և ոչ ոքի տրամադրված օգնության մասին չպատմեն... անօգուտ է, ամեն անգամ երբ մեր գործընկերների կամ հովանավորների հետ այցելում ենք տնակային ավաններ կամ կիսաքանդ շինություններում պատսպարված ընտանիքներին, միանգամից, հաշված րոպեների ընթացքում սկսվում է տասնյակ մարդկանց այցելությունները մեր գրասենյակ, անվերջ հեռախոսազանգերը, անվերջանալի սիրտ մաշող նամակները...

Եթե նկատել եք սոցիալական կայքերում ևս խուսափում եմ օգնությունների տրամադրման մասին, անգամ լուսանկարներ տեղադրել: Հիմա գրենական պիտույքների և պայուսակների ոչ մեծ խմբաքանակը արագ բաժանեցինք, բայց դպրոցահասակ երեխաներ ունեցող ընտանիքների խնդրանքն ու հոսքը չի դադարում: 

Անգամ պահանջում են հաշվետու լինել, թե ինչ սկզբունքով եմ բաժանում, անկեղծ ասած ունեմ մեկ սկզբունք, ովքեր կարիքի մեջ են...իսկ այդպիսիների թիվը այլևս հազարներով է հաշվվում Շիրակում: Պատկերացնում եմ առաջիկա ձմռանը ինչ վիճակ է լինելու ձմռան վառելիքի հարցում: 
Աղքատությունը ավելացել է, հովանավորները պակասել...երևի նրանք էլ հոգնեցին, ինչպես՝ ես: 

Այսօր բազմիցս զանգեց տնակներից մեկում միայնակ, անժառանգ բնակվող մի կին, ասում է վայր է ընկել և կոտրվածքներով, մենակ և անօգնական իր տնակում գամված է անկողնուն... օգնություն է խնդրում: 

Չգիտեմ, այլևս այս ամենը դարձել է անտանելի…»:
