Հայկական էստրադայի չմարող աստղը` Հայկոն, այսօր կդառնար 49 տարեկան

Հայկական էստրադայի չմարող աստղը, ռոմանսների Հայկոն այսօր՝ օգոստոսի 25-ին,  կդառնար 49 տարեկան։ 

Հայկոն սովորել է Երևանի թիվ 170, ապա՝ Թումանյանի անվան թիվ 32 միջնակարգ դպրոցներում։ 1987 թ. ավարտել է Երևանի Չուխաճյանի անվան երաժշտական դպրոցը և ընդունվել Ռ. Մելիքյանի անվան երաժշտական ուսումնարան։ 1996 թ. «Մոսկվա 96» երգի փառատոնի ժամանակ արժանացել է 1-ին մրցանակին։ 1997 թ. մասնակցել է Նյու Յորքի «Big Apple» երգի փառատոնին և դարձել հաղթող։ 1998 թ. հայկական «Այո» երգի մրցույթի ժամանակ արժանացել է «Լավագույն հեղինակ-կատարող» մրցանակին։ 1999 թ. ավարտել է Երևանի Կոմիտասի անվան պետական կոնսերվատորիան։ 1998 թ., 1999 թ., 2002 թ., 2003 թ. և 2006 թ. հայկական երաժշտական ամենամյա մրցանակաբաշխության ժամանակ արժանացել է «Տարվա լավագույն երգիչ» մրցանակին, 2002 թ.՝ «Տարվա լավագույն նախագիծ», «Տարվա լավագույն ալբոմ», 2003 թ.՝ «Տարվա լավագույն տեսասկավառակ» մրցանակներին։ 2003 թ. առաջին մենահամերգով հանդես է եկել ԱՄՆ-ի Լոս Անջելես քաղաքում։
 
2006 թ. Հայաստանի Նախագահի հրամանագրով նրան շնորհվել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության վաստակավոր արտիստի կոչում։
 
2007 թ. ներկայացրել է Հայաստանը «Եվրատեսիլ» երգի միջազգային մրցույթի ժամանակ և զբաղեցրել 8-րդ տեղը։ 2007 թ., 2010 թ. և 2011 թ. արժանացել է «Տարվա լավագույն կոմպոզիտոր» մրցանակին՝ «Մի վախեցիր», «Սպանված աղավնի», «Խաչագողի հիշատակարանը» ֆիլմերի երաժշտության համար։ Գրել է նաև «Ոչինչ չի մնա», «Հոբելյանական հաճախորդ», «Վանա ծովուն արշալույսը», «Գարեգին Նժդեհ» ֆիլմերի երաժշտությունները։ 2011 թ. Մոսկվայի հայկական երաժշտական «Արմենիա» ամենամյա մրցանակաբաշխության ժամանակ արժանացել է «Տասնամյակի երգիչ» մրցանակին։ 2012 թ. «Արմենիա» հեռուստաընկերությամբ հանդես է եկել՝ որպես «Հայաստանի ձայնը» հեռուստանախագծի երաժշտական պրոդյուսեր։
 
2021թ․ սեպտեմբերի 29-ին, ցավոք, հիվանդությունից հետո, կյանքին հրաժեշտ տվեց սիրելի երգիչն ու կոմպոզիտորը։ 
 
Տաղանդավոր երգչին հավատարիմ հանդիսատեսն ու երկրպագուն այսօր էլ վառ հիշում է․ նա ապրում է իր երգերով ու ստեղծագործություններով։
