Օտտավայում գողացել են Չերչիլի հանրահայտ լուսանկարը, որի հեղինակը հայ է

Օտտավայում գողացել են Մեծ Բրիտանիայի նախկին վարչապետ Ուինսթոն Չերչիլի ամենահայտնի լուսանկարներից մեկը։ Լուսանկարը հայտնի է նրանով, որ Չերչիլը պատկերված է առանց սիգարի։ Գողության մասին մանրամասներ հաղորդում է CTV-ի կանադական հրատարակությունը։

1941 թվականի դեկտեմբերին կանադահայ լուսանկարիչ Յուսուֆ Քարշի կողմից արված «Մռնչող առյուծ» լուսանկարը գողացել են Château Laurier հյուրանոցից։ Հանգստյան օրերին հյուրանոցի աշխատակիցները նկատել են, որ հայտնի լուսանկարի բնօրինակը փոխարինվել է պատճենով, հայտնում է CTV-ն:

«Մենք խորապես վշտացած ենք այս լկտի արարքի առնչությամբ։ Որպես նախազգուշական միջոց՝ սրահում մնացած լուսանկարները հեռացվել են այնքան ժամանակ, մինչև դրանք ապահով կերպով պաշտպանված լինեն»,- ասել է Château Laurier-ի գործադիր տնօրեն Ժենևիվ Դյուման։

Լուսանկարն արվել է Կանադայի խորհրդարանում նախկին վարչապետի ելույթից հետո։ Պատկերը «Մռնչող առյուծ» անվանումը ստացել է ֆոտոշարքի ժամանակ տեղի ունեցած միջադեպի պատճառով։

CTV-ն գրում է, որ նկարահանվելուց անմիջապես առաջ Յուսուֆ Քարշը Չերչիլից առանց հարցնելու սիգարը վերցրել է, ինչի հետևանքով նախկին վարչապետը դեմքը խոժոռել է տեսախցիկի առաջ։

Հետո Չերչիլն ասել է. «Մռնչող առյուծին էլ կարող եք ստիպել կանգնել, որ նկարվի»:

Մի քանի վայրկյան անց երկրորդ նկարն է արվել, որում վարչապետը բարեհամբույր ժպտում է:

Յուսուֆ Քարշը (հայկական անունը Հովսեփ էր) ծնվել է Մարդին քաղաքում, Օսմանյան կայսրության հարավարևելյան շրջանում։ Ցեղասպանության ժամանակ 14 տարեկան տղա է եղել, ընտանիքը ենթարկվել է հալածանքի, իսկ քույրը սովից մահացել է։ 1922 թվականին ընտանիքով փախել են Հալեպ։ Շուտով ծնողները Յուսուֆին ուղարկել են Կանադա՝ քեռի Նաղաշի մոտ ապրելու ու նոր կյանք սկսելու։ Վերջինս հմուտ լուսանկարիչ էր։ Այստեղ Քարշը կրթություն է ստացել և աշխատել Նաղաշի ստուդիայում։ Նաղաշը, տեսնելով Յուսուֆի լուսանկարչական տաղանդը, նրան ուղարկում է Բոսթոն՝ լուսանկարիչ Ջոն Գարոյի մոտ սովորելու։
