Օգոստոսի 16-ին, ժամը 01.20-ին, «Աշտարակ» բժշկական կենտրոնից ոստիկանություն հաղորդում էր ստացվել, որ կտրած-ծակած, պատռված վերքերով, մկանի և նյարդերի վնասումով բուժօգնության է դիմել 44-ամյա տղամարդ: Ժամը 02.20-ին նույն հիվանդանոցից դարձյալ հաղորդումներ էին ստացվել. այս անգամ մարմնական վնասվածքներով բուժօգնության էին տեղափոխվել 24-ամյա և 35-ամյա երկու երիտասարդ: Այս մասին հայտնում է Ոստիկանությունը։

Ժամը 03.20-ին մեկ այլ բժշկական կենտրոնից էր ահազանգ ստացվել. կտրած-ծակած, պատռված վերքերով բուժօգնության էր տեղափոխվել 27-ամյա երիտասարդ:

Ոստիկանության Աշտարակի բաժնի ծառայողների ձեռնարկած օպերատիվ-հետախուզական միջոցառումների արդյունքում պարզվել է, որ օգոստոսի 15-ին, ժամը 23.30-ի սահմաններում, Արագածոտնի մարզի Կոշ համայնքի վարչական տարածքի հանդիսության սրահներից մեկում նույն համայնքի 29 և 44 տարեկան երկու բնակչի միջև տեղի ունեցած վիճաբանություն-ծեծկռտուքն այնուհետև տեղափոխվել էր այլ տարածք, որտեղ նրանց էին միացել երեք երիտասարդ: Վիճաբանության ընթացքում 29-ամյա երիտասարդը դանակահարել էր հիվանդանոց տեղափոխված անձանց:
