Արևմտյան Ավստրալիայի հանքերում կտեղադրվեն արևային մարտկոցներ

Rossaprimavera.ru-ն գրում է, որ Հանքարդյունաբերական հսկա BHP ընկերությունը սկսել է 10 ՄՎտ հզորությամբ արևային էլեկտրակայանի տեղադրումը, որը մարտկոցների և հողմային տուրբինների հետ միասին կնպաստի Արևմտյան Ավստրալիայի հյուսիսային Գոլդֆիլդս տարածաշրջանում նիկելի արդյունահանման աշխատանքներին: Այդ մասին հայտնել է Energy Economics and Financial Analysis ինստիտուտը:

10,7 ՄՎտ հզորությամբ արևային էներգիայի կենտրոնը և 10,1 ՄՎտ հզորությամբ մարտկոցը Լեյնստերում BHP ընկերության Nickel West Northern Goldfields Solar նախագծի մի մասն է, և որը մշակվել է TransAlta ընկերության կողմից որպես իր հեռահաղորդակցական ցանցի մաս:

Սա BHP ընկերության առաջին էներգամատակարարման ցանցից դուրս լայնածավալ վերականգնվող էներգիայի  աղբյուրների ստեղծման նախագիծն է: Այն նպատակ ունի փոխարինելով դիզելային և գազային էներգիան արևային մարտկոցների էներգիայով` 12%-ով նվազեցնել հանքարդյունաբերական ընկերության կողմից ջերմոցային գազերի արտանետումները իր North Goldfields հանքավայրերից: Ենթադրվում է, որ հետագայում հողմակայանի ավելացումը կնվազեցնի ընկերության արտանետումները Mount Kit-ում և Leinster-ում ևս 30%-ով:

BHP ընկերությունը ընդգծում է, որ արևային էներգիայի կենտրոնի կառուցումը տեղի է ունենում այն ​​ժամանակ, երբ էկոլոգիապես մաքուր, ցածր ածխածնային նիկելի համաշխարհային պահանջարկը աճում է որպես հիմնական բաղադրիչ հենց նույն մարտկոցների և էլեկտրական մեքենաների արտադրության մեջ:
