ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը վստահ է, որ ժամանակակից աշխարհում պետությունները կարող են լինել կա՛մ ինքնիշխան, կա՛մ գաղութ, միջանկյալ կարգավիճակ գոյություն չունի։

«Աշխարհը փոխվում է, ընդ որում փոխվում է արագ: Եվ ինչ-որ առաջնորդության հավակնելու համար, էլ չեմ խոսում համաշխարհային առաջնորդության մասին, ցանկացած երկիր, ցանկացած ժողովուրդ, ցանկացած էթնոս պետք է ապահովի իր ինքնիշխանությունը»,- ասել է պետության ղեկավարը հինգշաբթի օրը երիտասարդ ձեռներեցների հետ հանդիպմանը։

«Որովհետև միջանկյալ վիճակ չկա՝ կա՛մ երկիրը ինքնիշխան է, կա՛մ գաղութ, ինչպես էլ որ անվանեն գաղութը»,- բացատրել է նա։

«Մենք ապրում ենք փոփոխությունների դարաշրջանում, բոլորը դա հասկանում են, տեսնում են, աշխարհաքաղաքական տրանսֆորմացիա կա՝ և՛ գիտական, և՛ տեխնոլոգիական»,- հայտարարել է Պուտինը։

Նա համոզված է, որ գաղութատիրական երկրները պատմական հեռանկար չունեն. «Եթե մի երկիր կամ երկրների մի խումբ ի վիճակի չէ ինքնիշխան որոշումներ կայացնել, նա արդեն որոշ չափով գաղութ է, իսկ գաղութը պատմական հեռանկար չունի, աշխարհաքաղաքական նման կոշտ պայքարում գոյատևելու հնարավորություն չունի»,- ասել է պետության ղեկավարը։ Նա նշել է, որ չի ցանկանում կոնկրետ երկրների անուններ տալ՝ «որպեսզի ոչ մեկին չնեղացնեն», սակայն հավելել է, որ աշխարհաքաղաքական պայքարը միշտ էլ եղել է։ 

Նրա խոսքով՝ «Ռուսաստանը միշտ եղել է ընթացող իրադարձությունների առաջնագծում»։
