Բայդենը պետք է Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչումից անցնի կոնկրետ գործողությունների

Նախագահ Բայդենի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին ամենամյա ուղերձի առիթով հայտարարություն է տարածել Հայ դատի Ամերիկայի հանձնախումբը։

«Նախագահ Բայդենի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչումից հետո ամերիկահայերն ակնկալում են Միացյալ Նահանգներից կոնկրետ քայլեր՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության համար արդարություն ապահովման և երկրորդ ցեղասպանությունը կանխելու համար, որը բխում է Հայաստանի դեմ Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի շարունակական սպառնալիքներից և հարձակումներից։

Նախագահ Բայդենը, Հայոց ցեղասպանության ոգեկոչման օրվա հայտարարությունում անգամ ևս սգում է «մեկուկես միլիոն հայերի համար, ովքեր տեղահանվեցին, սպանվեցին կամ մահվան ուղարկվեցին ոչնչացման արշավի ընթացքում․․․ Խորհելով Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին՝ մենք վերահաստատում ենք մեր խոստումը՝ պահպանելու զգոնությունն ատելության բոլոր  դրսևորումների կործանարար ազդեցության նկատմամբ։ Մենք կրկին հանձնառություն ենք հայտնում՝ բարձրաձայնելու և դադարեցնելու վայրագությունները, որոնք անջնջելի սպիներ են թողնում ամբողջ աշխարհում»։

Անդրադառնալով նախագահ Բայդենի հայտարարությանը՝ Հայ դատի Ամերիկայի հանձնախմբի գործադիր տնօրեն Արամ Համբարյանը նկատել է․ «Նախագահ Բայդենը, Կոնգրեսին առաջին անգամ միանալուց և Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ոգեկոչելուց հետո, հաստատել է ԱՄՆ-ի շարունակական ռազմական օգնությունն Ադրբեջանին։ ԱՄՆ հարկատուների կողմից ֆինանսավորվող օգնությունը նյութապես ուժեղացնում և բարոյապես քաջալերում է նավթով հարուստ բռնապետական դժոխքը, որը հակված է ավարտին հասցնելու ցեղասպանությունը հայկական պետության նկատմամբ։ Նախագահ Բայդենի գրառումը, ցավոք, արտացոլում է ցեղասպանության ճանաչման տառը, բայց ոչ իրական ոգին։ Ոչ մի առարկայական ճնշում Թուրքիայի վրա՝ հաշվի առնելու իր այսօրվա պարտականությունները, ոչ մի հակազդեցություն Արցախի դեմ Ադրբեջանի ցեղասպանական բռնությանը, ոչ մի ուժային հակազդեցություն Անկարայի կողմից այս հանցագործության շարունակական ժխտման նկատմամբ, ոչ մի ակտիվ աջակցություն Հայոց ցեղասպանության վերաբերյալ ԱՄՆ կրթական ծրագրերին: Նա կարող է և պարտավոր է ավելին անել»։

2021 թվականին, Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչելուց ընդամենը մեկ օր առաջ, նախագահ Բայդենը հրաժարվեց «907-րդ բանաձևի» կատարումից, ինչը թույլ է տալիս շարունակել ԱՄՆ ռազմական օգնությունն Ադրբեջանի ավտորիտար ռեժիմին, որը Թուրքիայի հետ միասին 44-օրյա ավերիչ պատերազմ սկսեց Հայաստանի դեմ։ Ադրբեջանը շարունակում է իր հարձակումները Արցախի դեմ և ապօրինաբար զորքեր է տեղակայում Հայաստանի ինքնիշխան  տարածքում։ Հայ դատի Ամերիկայի հանձնախմբի և ԱՄՆ կրոնական, էթնիկ և իրավապաշտպան կազմակերպություններից բաղկացած կոալիցիան նախագահ Բայդենին քանիցս կոչ է արել դադարեցնել Ադրբեջանին զինելը»:

Ինչպես վերջին շաբաթների ընթացքում բազմիցս հայտարարել ենք, Հայ դատի Ամերիկայի հանձնախումբը շարունակում է աշխատել Ադրբեջանին տրամադրվող ամերիկյան ռազմական օժանդակության կասեցման, ըստ այդմ «907-րդ բանաձևի» պահանջների վերականգնման, դաշնային մակարդակում Հայոց ցեղասպանության դասավանդումն ապահովման համար Կոնգրեսի գրադարանին համապատասխան ֆինանսական միջոցների հատկացման, ինչպես նաև Հայաստանին ու Արցախին տրամադրվող ամերիկյան ֆինանսական օժանդակության չափի մեծացման ուղղություններով։
