ԱՄՆ-ում մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել ԽՍՀՄ-ում ծնված «օրենքով գող» Ռաժդեն Շուլայի հանցախմբին

Նյու Յորքի դատախազությունը մեղադրանք է առաջադրել «օրենքով գող» 40-ամյա Ռաժդեն Շուլայի հանցախմբի 33 անդամներին, որոնք մասնակից են պատվիրված սպանությունների, շորթումների, խարդախությունների, թմրանյութերի և զենքի առևտրի, ինչպես նաև այլ ծանր հանցագործությունների:

Հանցախմբի անդամների մեծ մասը, այդ թվում Շուլայի «աջ ձեռք» 37-ամյա Զուրաբ Ջանաշվիլին, ապրել են Նյու Յորքի Բրուքլինի շրջանում, իսկ հանցախմբի ղեկավարը ապրել է Նյու Ջերսիում:

Ըստ մեղադրանքի վարկածի՝ Շուլայի հանցախումբը գործել է ԱՄՆ 5 նահանգներում՝ Նյու Յորք, Նյու Ջերսի, Փենսիլվանիա, Ֆլորիդա և Նևադա: Հանցախմբի գործողությունները մասնավորապես ներառել են փոքերի ընդհատակյա խաղերի կազմակերպում, տանուլ տված խաղացողներից պարտքերի բռնագանձում, խաղային ավտոմատների վարքը կանխատեսող էլեկտրական միջոցներով Աթլանտիկ Սիթիի և Ֆիլադելֆիայի խաղատների կողոպուտ, տրանսպորտային բեռների կողոպուտ, այդ թվում՝ 10 000 ֆունտ շոկոլադե կոնֆետներ, թմրանյութեր տարածելու նպատակով գիշերային ակումբի բացում, ոստիկանության պաշտոնյաների կաշառում, կեղծ փաստաթղթերի օգտագործում: Բացի դրանից, հանցախմբի կանայք քնաբերների միջոցով կողոպտել են այցելուներին:

Եթե Ռաժդեն Շուլայի մեղքը ապացուցվի, ապա նրան շորթումների համար սպառնում է 20 տարի ազատազրկում, գողոնը իրացնելու համար՝ 5 տարի, մաքսնանենգ ծխախոտի իրացման համար՝ 5 տարի, կեղծ փաստաղթերի համար՝ 15 տարի, խաղատներ կողոպտելու փորձի համար՝ ևս 15 տարի ազատազրկում:
