Ռուսաստանը պատրաստ է պայմաններ ստեղծել Հունաստանի եւ Թուրքիայի միջեւ տարածքային վեճերի լուծման գործընթացի համար. Այս մասին Հունաստանի արտգործնախարար Նիկոս Դենդիասի հետ բանակցություններիմամուլի ասուլից հետո կայացած մամուլի ասուլիսին հայտարարել է ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը, փոխանցում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։

«Մենք պատրաստ կլինենք ամեն կերպ պայմաններ ստեղծել կարգավորման գործընթացի համար»,- ասել է նա՝ նշելով, որ Ռուսաստանը ցանկացած վեճի, այդ թվում՝ Հունաստանի եւ Թուրքիայի միջեւ, միջազգային իրավունքի հիման վրա կարգավորման կողմնակիցն է:

Լավրովը նաեւ ուշադրություն է հրավիրել իր հույն գործընկերոջ այն խոսքերի վրա, որ «ինչ-որ մեկը կարող է փորձել օգտվել այն հանգամանքից, որ այժմ բոլոր հայացքներն այլ կողմ են ուղղված՝ նկատի ունենալով Ուկրաինային»։ «Այդ դեպքում դուք պետք է պահանջ ներկայացնեք ձեր արևմտյան դաշնակիցներին, քանի որ բոլոր հայացքներն ուղղված են այն աղմուկի վրա, որը նրանք դատարկ տեղում բարձրացնում են՝ հավանաբար իրենց աշխարհաքաղաքական շահերն առաջ տանելու նպատակով»,- դիմել է Լավրովը հույն նախարարին:

Իր հերթին, Հունաստանի ԱԳՆ ղեկավարը, մեկնաբանելով Անկարայի տարածքային պահանջների հարցը, նշել է, որ Թուրքիայի պնդումները «պատրվակ են տարբեր տեսակի գործողությունների համար»։
