Դելտակրոն. Ինչ է հայտնի Կիպրոսում հայտնաբերված կորոնավիրուսային շտամի մասին

Gazeta.ru-ն գրում է, որ Վիրուսաբանները խոսել են «դելտա» և «օմիկրոն» շտամների հիբրիդների առանձնահատկությունների մասին: Կիպրոսում հայտնաբերվել է կորոնավիրուսի նոր տարբերակ. դա «դելտա» և «օմիկրոն» շտամների հիբրիդ է։ Շտամը հայտնաբերել են Կիպրոսի համալսարանի Կենսատեխնոլոգիայի և մոլեկուլային վիրուսաբանության լաբորատորիայի գիտնականները Լեոնտիոս Կոստրիկիսի ղեկավարությամբ: Հետազոտողները նոր շտամն անվանել են «դելտակրոն»: Կոստրիկիսն ասել է, որ նոր տարբերակն ունի այնպիսի գենետիկական հիմք, ինչպես դելտա շտամը, սակայն դրա մի քանի մուտացիաները նույնն են օմիկրոն շտամի հետ: «Մենք հայտնաբերել ենք զգալի թվով մուտացիաներ, որոնք նախկինում հայտնաբերվում էին միայն օմիկրոն շտամով վարակվելու դեպքում», - բացատրել է նա: Նա նաև ասել է, որ օմիկրոն շտամն ունի 30 մուտացիա, և «դրանցից 10-ը հայտնաբերվել են Կիպրոսում վերցված նմուշներում»։

Ըստ համաճարակաբան Գենադի Օնիշչենկոյի պետք է  հասկանալ, թե արդյո՞ք կորոնավիրուսի նոր տարբերակը, որը հանդիսանում է «դելտա» և «օմիկրոն» շտամների հիբրիդ, այդքան վտանգավոր է։ «Վիրուսային շտամները չեն կարող փոխազդել միմյանց հետ, դրանք ստեղծվում և առաջանում են դրանց դեմ պայքարում, այլ ոչ թե միմյանց միջև։ Ամենայն հավանականությամբ, այստեղ կարելի է խոսել այն մասին, որ պահպանվել են այն մուտացիաները, որոնք եղել են օմիկրոնի նախորդում»,- պարզաբանել է նա։
