Մեր հասարակության մի ստվար զանգված լավագույնը, որ կարողանում է անել, ուրիշների փողերը հաշվելն է, ինչպես նաև ինքնուրույն տասը դրամ չստեղծածի «բարձունքներից» ոչ միայն խորհուրդ, այլև նույնիսկ հրաման արձակելն է, թե ինչպես այլոք ծախսեն իրենց աշխատած գումարները: Եվ սա այնքան սովորական է դարձել, որ հազիվ թե զարմանալի էր նման բուռն արձագանքը ԲՀԿ ղեկավար Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի նախաձեռնությանը: «Իմ ընտանիքի նախաձեռնությամբ հայտարարվում է մրցույթ՝ Հայաստան աշխարհի բարձունքում Հիսուս Քրիստոսի արձանը կառուցելու համար: Թող այն վերածննդի և լույսի ճանապարհ ցույց տա հայ ժողովրդին»,- տեղեկացրել էր Ծառուկյանը:

Ի դեպ, պետք է նշել, որ Հիսուս Քրիստոսի արձաններ տեղադրված են աշխարհի մի շարք երկրներում, այդ թվում՝ Պորտուգալիայում, Լեհաստանում, Բոլիվիայում, Մադեյրա կղզում, Արգենտինայի և Չիլիի սահմանին, Վիետնամում, Ինդոնեզիայում, Իտալիայում, Մալթայում, Պերուում: Իսկ ամենահայտնին, իհարկե, Ռիո դե Ժանեյրոյի հսկայական կոթողն է: Մասնագետների կարծիքով, այս բոլոր արձանները, բացի քրիստոնեության, հավատքի խորրհդանիշ լինելուց, ունեն նաև տնտեսական կարևոր նշանակություն, մասնավորաբար զբոսաշրջության խթանման տեսանկյունից:

Օրինակ՝ ամեն տարի մոտ 1,8 միլիոն զբոսաշրջիկ է այցելում Ռիո դե Ժանեյրոյում տեղադրված Քրիստոսի արձանը տեսնելու: Սա բավականին տպավորիչ թիվ է, և դժվար չէ հաշվարկել դրա տնտեսական ազդեցությունն այդ երկրի համար: Այնպես որ, ուժեղ անվտանգության գրավականներից է նաև ուժեղ տնտեսությունը, իսկ Հայաստանի համար տնտեսության զարգացման կարևորագույն ճյուղերից կարող է լինել հենց զբոսաշրջությունը:
