ԱՄՆ-ն կարող է բազմաթիվ դաշնակիցներ ունենալ, սակայն Ռուսաստանը Չինաստանին ունի. The New York Times-ն անդրադարձել է ռուս-չինական գագաթնաժողովին

ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենի կազմակերպած «Հանուն ժողովրդավարության գագաթնաժողովում» ավելի քան հարյուր տարբեր երկրներ էին ներկայացվել, սակայն տեղ չէր գտնվել Ռուսաստանի, Չինաստանի և մի քանի այլ երկրների համար:

Այս մասին գրում է The New Yotk Times-ը՝ նշելով, որ Պեկինն ու Մոսկվան աննշան կորուստ են ունեցել գագաթնաժողովին չմասնակցելուց, քնաի որ նրան մոտ ամուր և բարեկամանկան հարաբերություններ են ձևավորվել:

ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի հայտարարությոնը Պեկինի Օլիմպիական խաղերի բացման արարողության ներկա գտնվելու մասին, ամերիկացի լրագրողների կարծիքով, հակադրվում է Բայդենի՝ մրցումները բոյկոտելու որոշմանը:
