Ադրբեջանը հարձակում էր գործել Հայաստանի Ջերմուկ քաղաքից և Սևանա լճից ոչ հեռու գտնվող՝ բնապահպանական ու ջրային ռեսուրսների առումով խիստ զգայուն տարածքների վրա․ Արմեն Սարգսյան

Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը Սինգապուրում անցկացվող Bloomberg-ի Նոր տնտեսական համաժողովի (Bloomberg New Economy Forum) շրջանակում որպես բանախոս հանդես է եկել կլիմայական փոփոխություններին, Covid 19-ի համավարակին և դրանցով պայմանավորված նոր մարտահրավերին վերաբերող թեմատիկ քննարկմանը:

Համաժողովը միավորել է համաշխարհային առաջնորդների, միջազգային կազմակերպությունների ու առաջատար ընկերությունների ղեկավարների՝ քննարկելու համավարակի գլոբալ ազդեցության հետևանքները, դրանք դիմակայելու ուղիներն ու առաջացած նոր հնարավորությունները:

Հայաստանի նախագահն իր խոսքում մասնավորապես ընդգծել է, որ արագ փոփոխվող աշխարհն ու մարդկությունն այսօր առերեսվում են բազմաթիվ մարտահրավերների ու սպառնալիքների, որոնց թվում են կլիմայական փոփոխությունների, կորոնավիրուսային համավարակի հետևանքով առաջացած հրատապ խնդիրները: Դրանք կարգավորելու և լուծումներ գտնելու համար նախագահ Սարգսյանն անհրաժեշտ է համարել հավաքական պատասխանատվության դրսևորումը, համարձակ քայլերն ու միասնական ջանքերի գործադրումը՝ ընդգծելով, որ առաջ գնալու ճանապարհը կանաչ տեխնոլոգիաներն են:

Կարևորելով բոլոր երկրների՝ կանաչ և խաղաղ ապագա ստեղծելու հանձնառությունը՝ նախագահ Սարգսյանը ցավով է արձանագրել, որ կան երկրներ, որոնց անգամ համավարակի նման արհավիրքն ետ չպահեց անմարդկային գործողություններից: Նա նշել է, որ անցած տարի հենց համավարակի ծանր շրջանում Հայաստանի հարևան Ադրբեջանը լայնամասշտաբ և աղետալի պատերազմ սանձազերծեց Արցախի դեմ, իսկ ընդամենը երկու օր առաջ ադրբեջանական ուժերն հարձակում էին գործել Հայաստանի Ջերմուկ քաղաքից և Սևանա լճից ոչ հեռու գտնվող՝ բնապահպանական ու ջրային ռեսուրսների առումով խիստ զգայուն տարածքների վրա: Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիվ գործողությունները մարդկային զոհերի պատճառ են դարձել, ինչպես նաև մեծ վնաս հասցրել բնակչությանն ու բնությանը:
