սրտանց շնորհավորում եմ բոլորիս՝ Հանրապետության օրվա առթիվ:
Շուրջ մեկ դար առաջ այս օրերին, հենց մարտի դաշտում՝ Սարդարապատում, Բաշ-Ապարանում և Ղարաքիլիսայում, վճռվեց Հայաստանի առաջին հանրապետության և, ընդհանրապես, Հայաստանի լինելու խնդիրը: Վճռվեց բացառապես հայերի՛ս բազկի ուժով, քանզի կենաց ու մահու այդ կռվին, չնայած թշնամու բանակի թվային և զինական բացահայտ առավելությանն ու մեր թիկունքում դաշնակիցների բացակայությանը, կռվի ելան բոլորը՝ ազգային գործիչն ու հոգևորականը, մտավորականն ու բանվորը, շինականն ու զինվորականը, բոլոր նրանք, ովքեր կարող էին զենք վերցնել: Ակնհայտ է, որ մեր նախնյաց հաղթանակի հիմքում ազգի հարատևելու, աշխարհին սեփական դրոշով հարաբերվելու երազանքն իրագործելու անկոտրում կամքն էր: Կամք, որն ունենք նաև այսօր ու, վստա՛հ եմ, որ ունենալու ենք միշտ:
Մենք հիշում և գնահատում ենք մեր նախնիների սխրանքը, փառքի ու պատվի արժանացնում հերոս ժամանակակիցներին` գիտակցելով, որ նրանց շնորհիվ այսօր ունենք ազգերի ընտանիքում ուրույն կերպարով ներկայացող երկիր, որի հաջողություններից, անշուշտ, կախված է նաև աշխարհասփյուռ հայության ապագան:
Կրկին շնորհավորելով տոնի առիթիվ՝ մաղթում եմ, որ արժանապատվորեն շարունակենք մեր բոլոր նախնիների շնորհակալ գործը՝ շենացնելով ու զարգացնելով մեզ ժառանգված երկիրը, և մեր ստեղծագործ աշխատանքով Հայաստանը դարձնենք ավելի հզոր ու բարեկեցիկ:
