«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է. «Երեւանում քրեական երկու հեղինակությունների նկատմամբ ծրագրված մահափորձի վերաբերյալ «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթին երեկ ուշագրավ մանրամասներ են հայտնի դաձել: Ինչպես հայտնի է՝ մահափորձ է ծրագրված եղել իրականացնել Արթուր Ասատրյանի՝ Դոն Պիպոյի, եւ Արամ Վարդանյանի՝ Վստրեչի Ապերի նկատմամբ: Սակայն այս մահափորձը կանխել են իրավապահները. ոստիկանությունը բացահայտել ու ձերբակալել է հանցավոր խմբավորմանը:

Ձերբակալվածները խոստովանել են, թե ովքեր են եղել իրենց թիրախում: «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթին տեղեկություններ հասան, որ նրանց պատկանող հեռախոսների մեջ են եղել Արթուր Ասատրյանի՝ Դոն Պիպոյի, եւ Արամ Վարդանյանի լուսանկարները, ինչը ըստ էության առավել հիմնավոր է դարձրել այն տեղեկությունները, որ վերոնշյալ անձանց նկատմամբ մահափորձ է ծրագրված եղել իրականացնել:

Նաեւ պարզեցինք, որ ձերբակալված անձինք Վանաձոր քաղաքի բնակիչներ են, թե ովքեր են նրանք, իրավապահներն առայժմ գաղտնի են պահում:
