«1999 թվական: Վազգեն Սարգսյանը վարչապետ է: Նայում է տնտեսությունը: Պարզվում է՝ տասնյակ բիզնեսմեններ ժամկետանց պարտքեր ունեն պետությանը: Ցուցակը բաժանում է նախարարների միջև: Հանդիպեք, ասեք՝ պետության պարտքը վերադարձնեն, հանձնարարում է Վազգեն Սարգսյանը:

Մի շաբաթից կանչում է՝ զեկուցեք՝ ինչ եք արել: Նախարարներից մեկը զեկուցում է՝ իմ ցանկում հինգ հոգի էր: Չորսի հետ պայմանավորվել եմ, ժամանակացույց ենք կազմել, կվճարեն: Հինգերորդին հանդիպեցի, սուրճ խմեցինք, ասացի՝ էսպես֊էսպես, պետության փողը պիտի վերադարձնես: Ասաց՝ ձեզ տալու չունեմ, պետության մերն էլ... Էդպես էլ ասա՞ց, հարցնում է Վազգեն Սարգսյանը: Այո, այդպես էլ ասաց: Դրան կբերես ինձ մոտ, ասում է վարչապետը:

Գալիս են, ներս մտնում: Բարև Ձեզ, պարոն վարչապետ, ասում է նախարարը: Բարև Ձեզ, զեկուցեք, պարոն նախարար։ Մյուսն էլ է բարևում: Վրան չի նայում, սենյակում էդպիսի մարդ չկա, գոյություն չունի: Այս մարդուն հանդիպեցի, պարոն վարչապետ, ասաց՝ ձեզ տալու չունեմ,  պետության մերն էլ... Մյուսը փորձում է՝ թույլ կտաք, պարոն վարչապետ... Չկա, վրան չի նայում, գոյություն չունի: Դուք ուժային նախարար եք, չէ՞: Այո, պարոն վարչապետ: Գնդակահարել:  Բիզնեսմենը չոքում է, կաղկանձում: Հատակը, կարծեմ, թաց է: Կատարել, պարոն նախարար, ասում է Վազգեն Սարգսյանը, ազատ եք: Նախարարը շրջվում է՝ դուրս գա: Էս աղբն էլ հետդ տար, ասում է Վազգեն Սարգսյանը:

Երեք օր հետո պետության պարտքը վճարված էր:

Զի՞նչ ցուցանե պատմությունս: Անցել է 22 տարի: Մարդիկ դուխավորվել են: Այս դահլիճում փորձում են վարկաբեկել Վազգեն Սարգսյանին: Մեղադրում են պետական հեղաշրջում անելու մեջ: Ինչպես տմարդի Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանին էին մեղադրում։

Ձեզ տղա դառնալու համար 22 տարի՞ էր պետք: Այն ժամանակ մեղադրեիք: Թե խառնել եք՝ ինչ է պետությունը, ինչ է բիզնեսմենը:  Սա հարցի մի կողմն է: Երկրորդն էլ կա:
