Երեկ Հանրային հեռուստաընկերության եթերում Պետրոս Ղազարյանի հարցերին էր պատասխանում 1983-1988 թվականներին Էջմիածնի շրջանի Հացաշեն գյուղի կաթնամթերքային համալիրում աշխատանքային գործունեություն ծավալած, հետագայում` 1996-2008 թվականներին ընդհատումներով ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի թիկունքի գծով տեղակալ աշխատած, 2000 թվականին գեներալ-մայորի, ապա 2003 գեներալ-լեյտենանտի կոչում ստացած Գուրգեն (Գագիկ) Մելքոնյանը։ Այս մասին ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է փաստաբան Լուսինե Սահակյանը:

«Սույն անձի բազմաթիվ մտազեղումների ընթացքում հնչել են նաև մտքեր Արթուր Վանեցյանի վերաբերյալ։ Մասնավորապես այդ անձը արտաբերել է, թե «Վանեցյան գնաց ու փախավ։ Գնալն ու հետ գալը մեկ եղավ։ Գնացին հասան էնտեղ, զենքերը հավաքեցին, գիտեին, որ էնտեղ անտեր թափած լիքը զենքեր կային, հավաքեցին բերեցին Հայաստան։ Իրանց նպատակը գնալ զենք բերելն էր»։

«Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» կուսակցության ցուցակով ԱԺ պատգամավոր դառնալն անգամ չի ազատում գեներալի ուսադիրներ կրող անձին մտածել խոսելուց առաջ ու հաշիվ տալ իրեն արտահայտած մտքերի համար։
