Աստղային կուտակումների կենտրոնում միանգամից 100 սև անցք է հայտնաբերվել

Աստղագետները պարզել են, որ Օձի համաստեղության Palomar 5 գնդաձև կուտակման մեջ՝ Երկրից 76 000 լուսային տարի հեռավորության վրա, շուրջ 100 սև անցք է գտնվում, որոնց բաժին է ընկնում երկնային մարմնի զանգվածի մոտ 20 տոկոսը: Այս մասին գրում է ՏԱՍՍ գործակալությունը՝ ներկայացնելով Nature Astronomy գիտական ամսագրում հրապարակված տվյալները:

«Աստղաֆիզիկոսները վաղուց ենթադրում էին, որ սև անցքերի միաձուլումը մեծամասամբ տեղի է ունենում աստղերի գնդաձև կուտակումներում, սակայն մինչև վերջերս գիտնականները չգիտեին, թե ինչքան շատ դրանք կարող են լինել: Ուսումնասիրությունների մեր մեթոդի շնորհիվ նման տեղեկություն հնարավոր է ստանալ նաև այլ մարմինների համար», - հայտնել է ուսումնասիրության համահեղինակ, Քարդիֆի համալսարանի գիտաշխատող Ֆաբիո Անտոնինին:  

Աստղերին զանգվածով նման սև անցքերի միաձուլման մասին գիտնականները տեղեկություն են ստանում գրավիտացիոն ալիքներ որսացող սարքերի օգնությամբ: Որոշ գործոններ, ինչպես օրինակ՝ նման իրադարձությունների հաճախականությունը և սև անցքերի չափսերը խոսում են այն մասին, որ այդ մարմիններն առաջանում են տարբեր տեսակի աստղային կուտակումներում:
