ԱՄՆ Կալիֆորնիայի նահանգի հայ բնակիչը և նրա ընտանիքի մի քանի անդամներ դատարանում մեղավոր են ճանաչվել համավարակի նպաստների համակարգից 18 միլիոն դոլար հափշտակելու գործով։
 
CBS LA-ի փոխանցմամբ, Ռիչարդ Այվազյանին մեղավոր են ճանաչել դավադրության, փողերի լվացման և մի շարք այլ դաշնային մեղադրանքներով։ 42-ամյա Այվազյանն ու նրա 41-ամյա եղբայր Արթուր Այվազյանը մի քանի մանր բիզնեսներ էին հիմնել և կեղծ փաստաթղթերով գումարներ յուրացրել։ Դաշնային ժյուրին մեղավոր է ճանաչել նաև Ռիչարդի 37-ամյա կնոջը՝ Մարիետա Տեր-Աբելյանին, Գլենդելի 41-ամյա բնակիչ Վահե Դադյանին՝ բանկային խարդախությունների, տվյալների գողության մեղադրանքներով։ Չորս անձինք կեղծ կամ գողացված տվյալներ են օգտագործել բիզնեսի օգնության ծրագրերից գումար ստանալու համար։
 
Այդ գումարներով, նրանք թանկարժեք տներ են գնել Թարզանայում, Գլենդելում և Փալմ Դեսերթում, նաև ոսկեղեն, ժամացույցներ, թանկարժեք կահույք, պայուսակներ, հագուստ, Harley-Davidson մոտոցիկլետ։
 
Սեպտեմբերի 13-ին հրապարակվելու է նրանց դատավճիռը։ Այս գործով ավելի վաղ մեղավոր էին ճանաչվել նաև Արթուրի 39-ամյա կինը՝ Թամարա Դադյանը։ Եվս երեք հայերի դատավճիռը հրապարակվելու է օգոստոսին։
