Ես ձեր կողքին եմ լինելու դժվարին ճանապարհին, օգնելու եմ իմ փորձով, գիտելիքներով, հնարավորություններով, ինչով կարող եմ՝ պետությունը վերակառուցելու ճանապարհին։ Այս մասին իր ելույթում ասել է ՀՀ երրորդ նախագահ, ՀՀԿ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը։

«Ես քաղաքական խրամատը լքողը չեմ, այնպես, ինչպես պատերազմի ժամանակ չեմ լքել մեր երկրի պաշտպանության խրամատը։ Վստահ եղեք, որ պատվով սկսած գործը հաջողությամբ ավարտին ենք հասցնելու։ Ես հավատում եմ, որ չարը չի կարող հաղթել։ Թույլ չենք տալու, հայ ազգը երբեք չի համակերպվելու պատերազմի անարդար արդյունքների հետ։ Դիմում եմ մեր քաղաքացիներին, բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր երկու օր հետո կատարելու են իրենց քաղաքացիական պարտքը։ Հունիսի 20-ին ամեն ինչ ձեզնից է կախված, խոստումներ շռայլած ու ցինիկաբար խաբած օտարածին իշխանությունը մեզ կանգնեցրել է վտանգավոր ջրբաժանի առաջ։ Դուք եք որոշելու, թե ինչպիսին է լինելու մեր ապագան, կամ առանց չափազանցության, պետություն լինելու է, թե չէ»,-ասել է նա։

Սերժ Սարգսյանը կոչ է արել խոսել պատերազմից վերադարձած ծանոթների հետ, լսել նրանց պատմություններն ու համոզվել, թե ինչ տգետ ձևով են պատերազմ վարել այս իշխանությունները։
