Արդեն մի քանի օր է, Արարատի մարզի Շահումյան գյուղում բնակվող ամուսիններ՝ Վաչիկ և Արմինե Հակոբյանները չեն կարողանում հաշտվել այն մտքի հետ, որ ինչ-որ դատավոր հայր և նրա փաստաբան աղջիկը արգելում են, որպեսզի իրենք Վաչիկի մորաքրոջը ըստ կարգի հուղարկավորեն։ Ֆոտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանի հետ զրույցում Ա. Հակոբյանն ասում էր. «Ամուսնուս մորաքույրը՝ 84-ամյա Թերեզա Հակոբյանը, իր ամուսնու մահից հետո միայնակ էր բնակվում Արտաշատ քաղաքի Հ. Թովմասյան 1-ին շենքի 11-րդ բնակարանում։ Նրա խնամակալությամբ զբաղվել ենք ամուսիններով, առողջական խնդիրներ է ունեցել, ամեն անգամ բժիշկների մոտ մենք ենք տարել, մեր հնարավորության սահմաններում պահել ենք։ Նույնիսկ եղել են մարդիկ, ովքեր մեզ հորդորում էին, որպեսզի Թերեզային տեղափոխենք հոգեբուժարան, քանի որ վերջին տարիներին հոգեկան խնդիրներ է ունեցել, սակայն մենք հրաժարվել ենք այդ մտքից։ Իր անունով տարիներ առաջ բնակարանի սեփականության վկայական ենք հանել։ Նրա ցանկությամբ նաև ամուսնու կողքին մեր միջոցներով նրա գերեզմանի տեղն ենք սարքել։ Դեկտեմբերի 10-ին Արտաշատի հրշեջ-փրկարարները ահազանգ են ստանում, որ Թերեզան չի արձագանքում դռան զանգերին, ու փրկարարները, բացելով տան դուռը, նրան հայտնաբերում են ուղեղի կաթված ստացած վիճակում։ Տեղափոխում են Արտաշատի հիվանդանոց, որից հետո, մինչ մենք հիվանդանոցում կզբաղվենք նրա առողջական խնդիրներով, Արտաշատի տեղամասային տեսուչը տան բանալիները հանձնում է հարևանուհուն՝ Լուսինե Պողոսյանին, ով մասնագիտությամբ փաստաբան է և ոստիկաններին նա հայտնել էր, թե տատիկին ինքն է խնամել և տունը որպես սեփականատեր՝ պատկանում է իրեն։
