Բուրկինա Ֆասոյի կառավարությունը հայտարարել է, որ երկրի անկայուն հյուսիսում զինված մարդիկ սպանել են առնվազն 132 մարդու։

Գրել է միջազգային «Ալ Ջազիրա» հեռուստաընկերությունը։

Միավորված ազգերի կազմակերպության Գլխավոր քարտուղար Անտոնիու Գուտերեշը երկրներին կոչ է արել կրկնապատկել ջանքերը «բռնության ծայրահեղականության և դրա անընդունելի մարդկային զոհերի» դեմ պայքարելու համար:

Շաբաթ օրը կառավարության հայտարարության մեջ նշվել է, որ հարձակվողներն ուրբաթ գիշեր հարվածներ են հասցրել՝ սպանելով Նիգերին սահմանակից Յաղա նահանգի Սոլհան գյուղի բնակիչներին: Նրանք նաև այրել են տներն ու գյուղական շուկան։ Զոհերի թվում կա յոթ երեխա: Կառավարության խոսնակ Ուսսենի Տամբուրան լրագրողներին ասել է, որ ևս 40 բնակիչ վիրավորվել է։

Նախագահ Ռոք Մարկ Քրիստիան Կաբորեն սպանությունները որակել է «բարբարոսական» և ասել է, որ Բուրկինաբեի ժողովուրդը «պետք է միասնական և ամուր մնա այդ մթագնողական ուժերի դեմ»:

Առայժմ ոչ մի խումբ պատասխանատվություն չի ստանձնել:

2015 թվականից ի վեր Արևմտյան Աֆրիկայի երկիրը պայքարում է «Ալ-Քաիդայի», իսկ վերջերս նաև «ԻԼԻՊ» -ի (Իսլամական Պետություն) հետ կապված խմբերի ավելի հաճախակի և մահացու հարձակումների դեմ: 

Երկարատև հակամարտության պատճառով Բուրկինա Ֆասոյում մոտ 1,2 միլիոն մարդ ստիպված է եղել լքել իր տները, քանի որ զինված խմբավորումները ուժեղացնում են հարձակումները բանակի և խաղաղ բնակիչների վրա՝ չնայած Սահելի ողջ երկայնքով ֆրանսիական հազարավոր զորքերի և այլ միջազգային ու տարածաշրջանային ուժերի ներկայությանը», - գրել է «Ալ Ջազիրան»։
