Путин сообщил о завершении прокладки труб первой нити "Северного потока — 2"

Прокладка труб первой нитки "Северного потока — 2" успешно завершена, работа по второй продолжается, заявил президент Владимир Путин во время пленарного заседания Петербургского международного экономического форума.
Это, по его словам, произошло "два с половиной часа назад".
 

"Линейная работа целиком, включая морской участок, закончена", — сказал президент.

 
Путин отметил, что также на этой неделе обеспечили готовность российской линейной части маршрута до компрессорной станции "Славянская" — это отправная точка магистрали.
 
"Газ на "Славянскую" подан", — сказал он, добавив, что "Газпром" готов заполнить "Северный поток — 2" топливом.

"Северный поток — 2" предполагает строительство двух ниток трубопровода общей мощностью 55 миллиардов кубометров газа в год от побережья России через Балтийское море до Германии.
Против активно выступают США, которые продвигают в Европу свой сжиженный газ. В декабре 2019 года Вашингтон ввел санкции против компаний, участвующих в проекте. Прокладка возобновилась спустя год.
 
В Москве неоднократно призывали перестать политизировать ситуацию, напоминая, что газопровод выгоден не только России, но и Евросоюзу. В Берлине всегда выступали за достройку и отвергали односторонние экстерриториальные санкции Вашингтона.
