Ամասիայում ապրող վերջին հայը

Թուրքական «Ջումհուրիյեթ» թերթը ներկայացրել է Թուրքիայի Ամասիա քաղաքում ապրող վերջին հայի կյանքը, կենցաղն ու խնդիրները: Ստորև ներկայացնում ենք հրապարակումից մի հատված.

«Ամասիայում ապրող վերջին հայը Ռաֆայել Ալթունյանը կամ անձնագրով` Ֆարուք Ալթունը Ամասիայում ապրող վերջին հայն է: Գրեթե ոչ ոք իր իրական ինքության մասին տեղյակ չէ, որովհետև նա ինքնությունը թաքցնելով է ապրում: Ճնշումից ու օտարացումից խուսափելու համար անունը փոխել է և փորձում է «բոլորի նման» ապրել: Տունը, ուր անցել է վերջինիս մանկությունը քաղաքապետորանը խլել է իրենից, իսկ պապի և հոր գերեզմանների տեղում հիմա կրոնական վարժարան է: Նա պատմում է, որ հայ լինելու պատճառով դպրոցում ճնշումների է ենթարկվել իսկ բանակում ամենաշատ ծեծը ինքն է կերել:

«Ծնվածս օրվանից այստեղ եմ ապրում և այս հողում եմ ցանկանում թաղվել: Մարդը չի կարող մերժել իր ինքնությունը, ես հայ եմ, քրիստոնյա եմ: Միշտ ճնշվել եմ, իրավունքներս ոտնահարվել են երբեմն, երբ ինձ արմատներիս մասին են հարցնում, խուսափում եմ պատասխանել: Շրջապատումս շատերը ինձ ներգաղթյալ են ասում, իրականում ներգաղթյալները ինձ այդպես կոչողներն են: Այս հասարակության հանդեպ իմ ցուցաբերած հարգանքն ու հանդուրժողականությունը իմ նկատմամբ չի ցուցաբերվում: Ցանկանում եմ ապրել մի մթնոլորտում, որտեղ ազատորեն կխոսեմ ինքնությանս մասին»,-պատմում է Ռաֆայել Ալթունյանը»:
