Բայդենը կճանաչի՞ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը. Պետքարտուղարի թեկնածուն ուշագրավ հայտարարություն է արել

Ի պատասխան Սենատի Արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Բոբ Մենենդեզի (Դեմոկրատ, Նյու Ջերսի) ու Սենատոր Էդ Մարքիի (Դեմոկրատ, Մասաչուսեթս) կողմից բարձրացված հարցերին` ԱՄՆ Պետքարտուղարի պաշտոնի համար առաջադրված Էնթոնի Բլինկենը վերահստատեց Բայդեն-Հարիս թիմի նախընտրական քարոզարշավի խոստումը՝ «ճանաչել Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը», ինչպես նաև արտահայտվեց Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի (Արցախի) խաղաղ կարգավորման գործընթացի կարևորության մասին` ի թիվս այլ հարցերի, հաղորդեց Ամերիկայի հայկական համագումարը (Համագումար):

Պատասխանելով Հայոց ցեղասպանության վերաբերյալ Սենատոր Մարքիի հարցին` Պետքարտուղարի պաշտոնի համար առաջադրված Բլինկենը վերահաստատեց Բայդենի խոստումը՝ ճանաչել Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը. «Որպես նախագահի թեկնածու, նախագահ Բայդենը Հիշատակի օրվա իր հայտարարության մեջ խոստացավ սատարել Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչող բանաձև:

Մեր վարչակազմը պարտավորվելու է առաջնահերթություն տալ մարդու իրավունքներին և ապահովել, որ նման ողբերգություն չկրկնվի:

Վարչակազմը, պաշտոնում հաստատվելուց հետո, կձևակերպի Սպիտակ տան հայտարարության տեքստը՝ Հիշատակի օրը նշելու համար և կխորհրդակցի Կոնգրեսի հետ այս կարևոր հարցի վերաբերյալ»:

Ի հավելումն Հայոց ցեղասպանության, Բլինկենը հայտարարեց, որ Վարչակազմը «նորովի կվերսկսի ԱՄՆ-ի ներգրավվածությունը` գտնելու Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության մշտական կարգավորում, որը կպաշտպանի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի անվտանգությունը»:

Համագումարը լիովին սատարում է այս դիրքորոշումը:

Արցախի ժողովրդի ապահովությունն ու անվտանգությունը խիստ կարևոր են, նույնքան կարևոր է ռազմագերիների անհապաղ ազատումը, ովքեր դեռ պահվում են Ադրբեջանի կողմից՝ անկախ բոլոր ռազմագերիներին ազատելու պայմանավորվածությունից:

Հաշվի առնելով վեցշաբաթյա պատերազմը, որն Ադրբեջանը սանձազերծեց հայ ժողովրդի դեմ, Բլինկենը նշեց, որ Վարչակազմը «կվերանայի» Ադրբեջանին տրամադրվող ԱՄՆ անվտանգության աջակցությունը:

Համագումարը վճռականորեն աջակցում և հորդորում է Բայդեն-Հարիս վարչակազմին լիովին իրագործել Ազատության աջակցության ակտի 907 Բանաձևը, որն ընդունվել էր 1992թ.-ին՝ ի պատասխան Հայաստանի և Արցախի դեմ Ադրբեջանի թշնամական գործողություններին:
