Մահացել է դերասան Վիգեն Ստեփանյանը

68 տարեկանում՝ ուղեղի կաթվածից մահացել է դերասան, բեմադրիչ, ՀՀ արվեստի վաստակավոր գործից Վիգեն Ստեփանյանը։

Վիգեն Ստեփանյանը 1973 թվականին ընդունվել է Երևանի Կ․ Ստանիսլավսկու անվան թատրոնին կից դերասանական ստուդիա, որտեղ մինչև 1977 թվականն աշխատել է որպես դերասան։ 1977-1989 թվականներին որպես դերասան աշխատել է Երևանի Սունդուկյանի անվան ազգային ակադեմիական թատրոնում։ 1989 թվականին հիմնել է «Արձագանք» թատրոն-ստուդիան, որը 1991 թվականին հիմք դարձավ «Մետրո» թատրոնի, և մինչև 1994 թվականը եղել է թատրոնի գեղարվեստական ղեկավարն ու տնօրենը։ 1994-2003 թվականներին աշխատել է Լիբանանում։ 2003 թվականին վերադառնալով Հայաստան՝ նորից ստանձնել է «Մետրո» թատրոնի գեղարվեստական ղեկավարի պաշտոնը։ 2007 թվականին որպես հրավիրված դերասան և բեմադրիչ աշխատել է տարբեր թատրոններում։

2014 թվականի հոկտեմբերին Վիգեն Ստեփանյանը նշանակվել է Ալեքսանդր Սպենդարյանի անվան օպերայի և բալետի ազգային ակադեմիական թատրոնի ռեժիսոր։

Խաղացել է ավելի քան 100 դեր տարբեր թատրոններում, բեմադրել է 43 ներկայացում տարբեր երկրներում և տարբեր լեզուներով, նկարահանվել է մոտ 50 ֆիլմերում, ԽՍՀՄ տարբեր ստուդիաներում, խաղացել է ավելի քան 60 հեռուստաներկայացումներում։ Երեք տարի շարունակ եղել է «Երևան-Էրեբունի» տոնակատարության գլխավոր բեմադրիչը։ Գրել և բեմականացրել է ավելի քան 10 պիես։ Իր սցենարով նկարահանվել է երկու կարճամետրաժ և մեկ լիամետրաժ ֆիլմ։
