Պաշտոնական Բաքուն ընդունել է հայկական կողմի 62 քաղաքացու գերեվարման փաստը: Այս մասին «Ֆեյսբուք»-ի իր էջում գրել է ՀՀ ԱԺ Շիրակի մարզը ներկայացնող պատգամավոր Նազելի Բաղդասարյանը;

Նա նշել է. «Քիչ առաջ ավարտվեց իմ և Սոֆյա Հովսեփյանի հանդիպումը Խծաբերդից գերեվարված զինծառայողների ծնողների, ռուս խաղաղապահ զորքերի հրամանատար Ռուստամ Մուրադովի հետ։ Հանդիպման ընթացքում գեներալի կողմից հաստատվեց, որ պաշտոնական Բաքուն ընդունում է հայկական կողմից գերեվարված թվով 62 քաղաքացու փաստը։ Սույն հանգամանքը կարևոր երաշխիք է մեր քաղաքացիների կյանքի և առողջության անվտանգության համար։ Գերեվարվածների անվանական ցուցակը՝ մեր և Արցախի նախագահի կողմից եւս փոխանցվել է խաղաղապահների հրամանատարությանը, ադրբեջանական կողմին տալու համար։ Այսօրվա հանդիպմանը հաստատվեց նաև, որ մեր գերեվարվածները գտնվում են Բաքվում։ Հաջորդ փուլում քննարկվելու են մեր քաղաքացիների անվտանգ վերադարձի ժամկետներն և պայմանները»։

Արցախի Հանրապետության պաշտպանության նախարարությունը հայտարարում է, որ դեկտեմբերի 15-ի երեկոյան, դեռևս անհայտ պայմաններում, կորել է կապը Հադրութի Հին Թաղեր և Խծաբերդ գյուղերի ուղղությամբ տեղակայված ԱՀ ՊԲ մի քանի մարտական դիրքերի անձնակազմի հետ։ Արցախի նախագահ Արայիկ Հարությունյանը հայտարարել է, որ Խծաբերդի ուղղությամբ մի քանի տասնյակ զինծառայողներ գերի են ընկել:
