Դեկտեմբերի 1-ին խոշոր ավտովթար է տեղի ունեցել Լոռու մարզում: Ժամը 19:15-ի սահմաններում Սպիտակ-Գյումրի ավտոճանապարհի 17-րդ կմ հատվածում բախվել են Լոռու մարզի Մեծ Պարնի գյուղի բնակիչ, 36-ամյա Պերճ Մելքոնյանի վարած BMW 740 մակնիշի եւ Լոռու մարզի Հարթագյուղ գյուղի բնակիչ, 26-ամյա Արմենակ Հովհաննիսյանի վարած Opel Vectra մակնիշի ավտոմեքենաները: Այս մասին հայտնում է SHAMSHYAN.com-ը։

Վթարի հետեւանքով վարորդ Ա. Հովհաննիսյանը, ուղեւորներ, Հարթագյուղ գյուղի բնակիչներ, 54-ամյա Սամվել Հովհաննիսյանը, 51-ամյա Լալա Հովհաննիսյանը, Սպիտակ քաղաքի բնակիչներ, 29-ամյա Հայաստան Հովհաննիսյանը, 59-ամյա Հայաստան Սամվելյանն ու 2-ամյա Միշա Մելիքսեթյանը մարմնական վնասվածքներով տեղափոխվել են «Վանաձոր» բժշկական կենտրոն:

Վթարից հետո BMW-ի վարորդ Պ. Մելքոնյանը դեպքի վայրից դիմել է փախուստի, սակայն ժամերի ընթացքում ոստիկանութան Սպիտակի բաժնի օպերատիվ խումբը՝ բաժնի պետ Սերգո Ավետիսյանի եւ ՃՈ 2-րդ սպայական գումարտակի 5-րդ վաշտի 1-ին դասակի ծառայողները՝ վաշտի հրամանատար Լ. Ղանդիլյանի, դասակի հրամանատար Ա. Սուքիասյանի գլխավորությամբ, հայտնաբերել են նրան, ով նաեւ ենթարկվել է սթափության փորձաքննության, պարզվել է, որ եղել է խմածության ամենաբարձր աստիճանի:
