Բանակցությունները ձախողել է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, հիմա էլ լկտի սուտ է գրում։ Այս մասին «Արմնյուզ» հեռուստաընկերության եթերում ասել է քաղաքական գործիչ Կարեն Բեքարյանը` անդրադառնալով Արցախի մասին Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի գրառումներին։ «Ո՞ւմ է ապուշի տեղ դնում, ինքը չի՞ հասկանում, թե ինչն է ինչի հետ համեմատում»,– ասել է նա։

Անդրադառնալով Փաշինյանի դիտարկմանը, թե 2018-ի դրությամբ Արցախի հարցը փակուղում էր և միակ լուծումը տարածքների անվերապահ հանձնում էր, Կարեն Բեքարյանն ասել է. «Հերթական լկտի սուտն է, որովհետև բանակցային գործընթացն ինքն անձամբ է մտցրել փակուղի, առաջինը վերելակային պայմանավորվածությունը։ Դրանից հետո Ադրբեջանն իրականացրել է դիրքերի բարելավում սահմանային գոտու ողջ երկայնքով, այդ թվում նաև Նախիջևանում, դու ոչինչ չես արել, որովհետև չէիր էլ կարող անել։ Տարուց ավելի բացատրում էինք մեր հանրությանը, որ մտնելով այսպիսի չմտածված պայմանավորվածությունների մեջ, եթե անգամ կյանքեր է խնայում, դա ժամանակավոր է, որովհետև դիմացինը պատրաստվում է»։

«Երկրորդը` դու քայքայում ես բանակցային տրամաբանության ամբողջ ընթացքը, երբ որևէ կերպ չպատրաստված, առանց խորհրդակցությունների, ասում ես` դու չես կարող ներկայացնել ԼՂ֊ն, միայն իրենք են կարող։ Երբ դու քո պատկերացումներում «ավերող» հեղափոխությունն ես անում, որից դիմացինն օգտվում է։ Երրորդ գործողությունը. գնաց ի լուր աշխարհի Ստեփանակերտի Վերածննդի հրապարակում ասաց` Արցախը Հայաստան է և վերջ։ Ողջ դիվանագիտական կորպուսը, պետական ապարատը պարալիզացվեց։ Այդ դեպքում դիվանագետն ինչի՞ վրա պետք է հենվեր, ինչի՞ համար էինք պայքարում։ Ոչ մի հայտարարություն իրար հետ կապ չուներ։ Ու տկարամտության այնպիսի շքերթ ունենք, որ նորանշանակ արտգործնախարարը, թե ոնց է գնացել այդ պաշտոնին, թողնենք իր խղճին, ասում է` մենք ռազմական դաշտում պարտություն ենք ունեցել, դիվանագիտական դաշտում` ոչ։ Այսինքն՝ մենք հասել ենք մառազմի»,– հավելել է նա։

Կարեն Բեքարյանի խոսքով` ԼՂՀ նախագահ կոչվող անձը պատերազմից մի քանի օր առաջ ասում էր` եթե կարգավիճակ էլ լինի, մենք տարածք չենք տալու, սակայն եթե նա պատերազմ չէր հրահրում, ապա ինչ էր անում այդ դեպքում։ «Հիմա հեքիաթներ են պատմում»,– ասել է նա։
