ՄԻԵԴ-ում ՀՀ ներկայացուցչի գրասենյակը Ադրբեջանի զինված ուժերի կողմից գերեվարված անձանց կյանքի իրավունքի պահպանման ուղղությամբ արված բոլոր իրավական քայլերի, այդ թվում ՀՀ-ի կամ անհատ փաստաբանների կողմից ՄԻԵԴ ուղարկված դիմումների, Ադրբեջանի նկատմամբ կիրառված միջոցների վերաբերյալ ողջ տեղեկատվությունը տրամադրել է ինչպես ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի և ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարություններին, Կարմիր Խաչի Միջազգային Կոմիտեին, այնպես էլ Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանին իրենց լիազորությունների շրջանակներում գործողություններ ձեռնարկելու համար:

«Շարունակաբար ՄԻԵԴ են ներկայացվում Ադրբեջանի կողմից մարդու իրավունքների կոպտագույն խախտումների վերաբերյալ նոր փաստեր:

Բացի այդ գերեվարված անձանց վերաբերյալ ցանկացած տեղեկատվություն, ուսումնասիրելու և հետագա իրավական քայլերը ձեռնարկելու համար, ուղարկվում է նաև պետական այլ մարմիններ:

Ողջունելի է ցանկացած քայլ և նախաձեռնություն, որն ուղղված է գերեվարված անձանց իրավունքների պաշտպանությանը և նրանց շուտափույթ վերադարձին:

Այդուհանդերձ հարկ է նշել, որ գերեվարված անձանց վերաբերող հարցերը ունեն զգայուն կողմեր հատկապես վերջիններիս հարազատների համար: Ցանկացած նախաձեռնություն, որն ուղղված է սոցիալական հարթակների միջոցով անձնական տվյալների հավաքագրմանը, գերեվարված անձանց թվի վերաբերյալ տվյալների հրապարակայնեցմանը կամ անհայտ աղբյուրներին հղում կատարելով հայտարարությունների տարածմանը, ոչ միայն կարող է վտանգել գերեվարվածների կյանքը և առողջությունը, այլև անասելի ցավ և տառապանք է պատճառում նրանց հարազատներին»,- ասված է հաղորդագրությունում:
