Միջուկային զենքն արգելելու մասին պայմանագիրն առաջիկայում ուժի մեջ կմտնի

Շաբաթ՝ հոկտեմբերի 24-ին, միջուկային զենքն արգելելու մասին պայմանագիրը վավերացվել էր աշխարհի 50-րդ պետության՝ Հոնդուրասի կողմից: Դա նշանակում է, որ 90 օր անց փաստաթուղթը պետք է ուժի մեջ մտնի, հայտարարել է Նյու Յորքում ՄԱԿ-ի ներկայացուցիչը, հաղորդում է DW-ը:

Կարմիր Խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեի ղեկավար Պետեր Մաուրերն անվանել է պայմանագրի ուժի մեջ մտնելը մարդկության համար հաղթանակ եւ անվտանգ ապագայի խոստում: Իր հերթին «Միջազգային արշավ ընդդեմ միջուկային զենքի ոչնչացման» նախաձեռնությունն անվանել է դա պատմական քայլ եւ միջուկային զինաթափման պատմության մեջ նոր էջ:

Միջուկային զենքն արգելելու մասին պայմանագիրը միջազգային համաձայնագիր է, որն արգելում է այդ տիպի զինամթերքի ստեղծումը, փորձարկումը, պահպանումը, ձեռքբերումը, տեղափոխումն ու օգտագործումը: Փաստաթուղթն ընդունվել էր 2017 թվականի հուլիսին 122 պետությունների աջակցությամբ:

Քանի որ աշխարհի մի շարք երկրներ, այդ թվում՝ բոլոր միջուկային գերտերություններն եւ ՆԱՏՕ-ի անդամ պետությունները, ներառյալ՝ Գերմանիան, բոյկոտի են ենթարկում պայմանագիրը, այն կրում է, ըստ ամենայնի, խորհրդանշական բնույթ, նշում է dpa գործակալությունը: Ընդ որում՝ ԱՄՆ-ը Ռուսաստանը, Ֆրանսիան, Մեծ Բրիտանիան եւ Չինաստանը պնդում են, որ իրենց միջուկային արսենալը կրում է բացառապես զսպող բնույթ, եւ ընդգծում, որ նրանք ընդունել են Միջուկային զենքը չտարածելու մասին պայմանագրի դրույթները: Սակայն պայմանագիրը ստորագրած երկրների ցանկում չեն Հնդկաստանը, Պակիստանն ու Իսրայելը, որոնք փաստացի նույնպես ունեն միջուկային զենք: Հյուսիսային Կորեան, որը ենթադրաբար ունի միջուկային մարտագլխիկներ, 2003 թվականին դուրս է եկել Միջուկային զենքը չտարածելու մասին պայմանագրից:
