Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանին Հայաստանի Անկախության տոնի առթիվ շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել Ֆրանսիայի Հանրապետության նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնը։

Ուղերձում մասնավորապես ասվում է.

«Պարոն նախագահ, սիրելի բարեկամ,Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Անկախության տոնի առթիվ իմ և ֆրանսիացի ժողովրդի անունից Ձեզ եմ հղում իմ ամենաջերմ շնորհավորանքները:

Ֆրանսիան և Հայաստանը կարող են հպարտանալ պատմական կապերի, համատեղ հիշողության և ընդհանուր տեսլականի վրա հիմնված հագեցած փոխհարաբերությունների համար: Այս առանձնահատուկ կապերն առավել քան երբևէ կազմում են մի հարստություն, որը մենք պարտավոր են զարգացնել: Դրանք մեզ դարձնում են ավելի ուժեղ՝ դիմագրավելու այն մարտահրավերներին, որոնք ծառացել են մեր երկրների առջեւ:

Ցանկանում եմ Ձեզ վստահեցնել, որ Ֆրանսիան վճռական է՝ աջակցելու Հայաստանին փոփոխությունների այն խիզախ գործում, որ ձեռնարկել է Հայաստանի կառավարությունը 2018 թվականից ի վեր: Ֆրանսիան ձեր կողքին է՝ նպաստելու ձեր տնտեսության նոր վերելքին, ինչպես նաև աջակցելու Հայաստանին՝ ներդնելու երկարատև կոնկրետ ծրագրեր առողջապահության ոլորտում և կլիմայական փոփոխությունների հետևանքների դեմ պայքարում: Առավել քան երբևէ մեր երկկողմ հարաբերությունների բոլոր դերակատարները պատրաստ են աջակցել բարեփոխումներին եւ մասնակցել տնտեսական վերելքին: Հակառակ COVID-19 համավարակի հարկադրանքին, ես գոհունակություն եմ հայտնում համալսարանական, կրթական եւ մշակույթի ոլորտներում մեր համագործակցության վերջին ձեռքբերումների կապակցությամբ:

Առիթից օգտվելով՝ ուզում եմ ընդգծել, որ Ֆրանսիան, որպես Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ, ոչ մի ջանք չի խնայի՝ հասնելու կողմերի միջեւ բանակցությունների արագ վերսկսմանը, Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության խաղաղ եւ տևական կարգավորման հույսով:
