ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Մայք Պոմպեոն հայտարարել է Իրանի դեմ պատժամիջոցների վերականգնման մասին՝ ի հեճուկս ՄԱԿ-ի։ Այս մասին հայտնում է ՌԻԱ Նովոստի- ն։

Պոմպեոն սպառնացել է բոլոր երկրներին, որոնք չեն կատարի Իրանի նկատմամբ միջոցների իրականացման «պարտավորությունները», Վաշինգտոնի կողմից միակողմանի գործողությունների տեսքով հետեւանքներով: Նա նշել է, որ, չնայած ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդի անդամ մյուս երկրների կարծիքին, պատժամիջոցների վերականգնման մասին որոշումն ընդունվել է կազմակերպության ընթացակարգերին համապատասխան, եւ այն պետք է կատարել:

Ամերիկացի դիվանագետն ընդգծել է, որ ՄԱԿ-ի անդամ բոլոր երկրները պետք է պահպանեն Իսլամական Հանրապետություն զենքի մատակարարման էմբարգոն: Նա հավելել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ի պահանջները ներառում են ուրանի հարստացմանը եւ վերամշակմանը մասնակցելու Իրանի արգելքը, ինչպես նաեւ ատոմային եւ հրթիռների հետ կապված տեխնոլոգիաների փոխանցման հետ կապված պատժամիջոցները:

Ավելի վաղ օգոստոսին Ռուսաստանի ԱԳՆ-ն ԱՄՆ-ի՝ Իրանի դեմ պատժամիջոցները վերականգնելու նախաձեռնությունը խղճուկ է անվանել: Այս մասին, գերատեսչության կարծիքով, վկայում է ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդի՝ 2231 բանաձեւի շրջանակներում պատժամիջոցները վերականգնելու մերժումը։

2231 բանաձեւը, որն ընդունվել է 2015 թվականին, պարունակում է Իրանի դեմ ՄԱԿ-ի պատժամիջոցների ավտոմատ վերսկսման մեխանիզմ, եթե երկիրը չկատարի Գործողությունների համատեղ համապարփակ ծրագրի (ԳՀՀԾ) շրջանակներում ստանձնած պարտավորությունները:
