Թրամփը ներել է բանկի նախկին կողոպտիչին

ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հրաման է ստորագրել անցյալում բանկի կողոպտման համար դատապարտված, իսկ ավելի ուշ բարեգործությամբ զբաղվող ամերիկացի Ջոն Պոնդերին ներելու մասին, որը երեքշաբթի ավելի ուշ հայտնվել է այս օրերին անցկացվող Հանրապետական կուսակցության համազգային համագումարում, փոխանցում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։

Համագումարի երկրորդ օրը սկսվելուց մի քանի ժամ առաջ Սպիտակ տունը տեսագրություն է տարածել, որում Թրամփը Սպիտակ տանը Պոնդերի ներկայությամբ ստորագրում է նրա ներման մասին հրամանը։ «Նա 38 տարեկանում կալանավորվել էր բանկի կողոպուտի մեղադրանքով։ Բանտարկության ժամկետը կրելիս Ջոնը սկսել է Աստվածաշունչ կարդալ եւ ունկնդրել քրիստոնեական ռադիո։ Ազատվելուց հետո մի օր ինչ-որ մեկը թակել է նրա դուռը։ Նա իրեն բանտ ուղարկած ՀԴԲ հատուկ գործակալ Ռիչարդ Բիզլին էր, որն ասել է․ «Ես ուզում եմ, որ դու իմանաս՝ ես քեզ համար աղոթել եմ»։ Հիմա Ռիչարդը եւ Ջոնը լավ ընկերներ են»,- ասել է ԱՄՆ առաջնորդը։

Նախագահական ներման շնորհիվ իր պատիժը կրած Պոնդերի դատվածությունը կհանվի։

Սպիտակ տանը տեղի ունեցած միջոցառմանը մասնակցել է նաեւ Բիզլին, ինչպես նաեւ Պոնդերի կինը։ Երբ Թրամփը հայտարարել է Պոնդերին ներելու իր որոշման մասին, նա արտասվել է։

Այս հոլովակը ցուցադրել են նաեւ հանրապետականների համագումարի շրջանակում։ Դրանից առաջ եթեր է դուրս եկել նախապես նկարահանված տեսանյութը, որում Պոնդերը եւ Բիզլին պատմում են իրենց պատմությունը։

Fox News հեռւստաընկերությունը հայտնում է, որ Պոնդերին առաջին անգամ կալանավորել են զինված կողոպուտի համար, նա այդ ժամանակ ընդամենը 16 տարեկան էր։ Հաջորդ 20 տարիներին նա մերթ հայտնվել է ազատության մեջ, մերթ կրկին բանտարկվել է տարբեր հանցագործությունների պատճառով։ Բանկի կողոպուտի մեղադրանքով նրան վերջնարդյունքում ուղարկել են դաշնային ուղղիչ հաստատություն։ Այս պատիժը կրելու ժամանակ տղամարդը վերանայել է իր կյանքը եւ ազատվելով հիմնադրել բարեգործական կազմակերպություն, որը նախկին բանտարկյալներին օգնում է նոր կյանք սկսել։
