Village People ամերիկյան դիսկո-խմբի վոկալիստ Վիկտոր Ուիլիսը հայտարարել է, որ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը և նրա նախընտրական շտաբն անտեսում են իրենց հանրահավաքների ժամանակ Y. M. C. A. հայտնի երգը չհնչեցնելու վերաբերյալ իր խնդրանքները, գրում է Daily Mail-ը։

69-ամյա երգիչը Facebook-ում գրառում է կատարել՝ բացատրելով, որ Y. M. C. A. երգը Թրամփի նախընտրական հանդիպումների ժամանակ չհնչեցնելու մասին իր շարունակական խնդրանքներն անուշադրության են մատնվում։

«Չնայած ես խնդրեցի նրանց չհնչեցնել մեր երգը, այժմ, կարծես, նախագահը Y. M. C. A. երգն օգտագործում է իր հանրահավաքներից յուրաքանչյուրի վերջում»,-ասել է Village People-ի հիմնադիր անդամը՝ հավելելով, որ այդ կապակցությամբ երկրպագուներից շատ բողոքներ է ստանում։

Ուիլիսի խոսքով՝ նա չի պատրաստվում այդ հարցը տեղափոխել իրավական դաշտ։
