Կյանքից հեռացել է ականավոր գիտնական, մեծ մտավորական, գիտության և կրթության նվիրյալ, մեծ սեր ու հարգանք վայելող Ռազմիկ Լևոնի Վարդանյանը: Այս մասին տեղեկացնում են Գորիսի համայնքապետարանից։

Քիմիական գիտությունների դոկտոր, պրոֆեսոր, Ռուսաստանի բնական գիտությունների ակադեմիայի լիիրավ անդամ Ռազմիկ Լևոնի Վարդանյանը հեղինակ է շուրջ 250 գիտական աշխատանքների, որոնք հրապարակվել են ոչ միայն Հայաստանում ու ԱՊՀ երկրներում, այլև Ճապոնիայում, Կանադայում, Հնդկաստանում, Լեհաստանում, Ռումինիայում և այլուր։ 1981 թվականին ընտրվել է ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի քիմիական կինետիկայի ասպարեզի անդամ: Սոսինձների շատ տեսակների գյուտի հեղինակը Ռ. Վարդանյանն է: Մինևչ օրս էլ դրանց մեծ մասը կիրառվում է աշխարհի տարբեր երկրներում:

Նրա ղեկավարած լաբորատորիայի կողմից ներդրվել է մոտ 15 հեղինակային իրավունք:
Ռազմիկ Վարդանյանը ծնվել է 1941թ. ապրիլի 14-ին պատմական Տաթև գյուղում:

1962 թվականին ընդունվել է Երևանի պետական համալսարանի քիմիայի ֆակուլտետ։ Երրորդ կուրսից Ռազմիկ Վարդանյանն ուսումը շարունակել է Մոսկվայի պետական համալսարանի քիմիական ֆակուլտետում և ավարտել այն 1967 թվականին:

1968-1972 թվականներին սովորել է ԽՍՀՄ ԳԱ «Քիմիական ֆիզիկա» ինստիտուտի Չեռնոգոլովկայի մասնաճյուղի ասպիրանտուրայում։

1968թ. թեկնածուական թեզը պաշտպանելուց հետո աշխատանքի է անցնել պրոֆեսոր Եվգենի Դենիսովի լաբորատորիայում, ապա տեղափոխվել է Հայաստան՝ որպես լաբորատորիայի վարիչ, Վանաձորի պոլիմերային սոսինձների գիտահետազոտական ինստիտուտում:

1975 թվականին աշխատանքի է հրավիրվել ՀՀ ԳԱ Գորիսի ֆիզիկատեխնիկական բաժանմունք, որտեղ զբաղվել է խոլեստերինային հեղուկ բյուրեղների կայունացման խնդիրներով:

2005-2016 թվականներին զբաղեցրել է ՀՊՃՀ Գորիսի կրթահամալիրի, 2006 թվականից՝ Գորիսի պետական համալսարանի նախ ուսումնական, ապա՝ գիտական գծով փոխտնօրենի պաշտոնը։ Գորիսի պետական համալսարանի գիտական լաբորատորիայի հիմնադիր ղեկավարն է:

Գիտական աշխատանքներ ու դասախոսություններ է կարդացել քիմիայի տարբեր բնագավառներում։
